This coming Saturday, the 15th of May, is the 6th annual European Museum Night, when museums all over Europe are open at night and free to the public.
In Paris, perfumer Francis Kurkdjian will be participating in an event at the Grand Palais:
The Nave will be staging a magical event entitled NoctamBulle for which perfumer Francis Kurkdjian is creating a collection of scented bubbles combining floral, fruit, herbal and honey fragrances in magical, celestial soundscapes by Béatrice Ardisson.
The event is supported by the company C17 SFX that has offered the use of its bubble-blowing machines and JLT Services for the sound technical diffusion.
Access is free via the main entrance on Winston Churchill (until 00:30 a.m.) or via the usual exits from the Turner and Way of the Tao exhibitions in the Galeries nationals, which is also taking part in the Museum Night.

Oh, I just love his scented bubbles! This sounds particularly wonderful, if just a teensy bit Vegas around the edges…(somehow I imagine them lighting up the bubbles in time to the music, but that’s probably all wrong) I like the way Kurkdjian’s mind works.
Really hope someone does a video of this…
Cool… very very cool.
Yep.
kinda tired of the bubble concept.
Aw, sick of bubbles! I don’t have so very many scented bubbles in my life, I guess.
Why aren’t I in Paris right now? (…sigh….)
Can’t tell you. But I’m not there either.
Waah!!! I’m dropping off my SO at the airport in 2 hours, he is headed to Paris. I want to go now too!!!!~
Oh! Make him go for you.
