Interesting trend – this essence of clean water thing. Didn’t we already visit it in the early 90’s with L’Eau d’Issey? But now we have A Scent, Narciso’s Essence, Serge’s L’Eau, Voyage d’Hermes, this one…etc. Is this a reaction to the whole perfume regulation thing? Developing scents that are inoffensive in order to allay the damage?
No idea. I’ve read various theories but none of them were convincing to me.
