Celine Dion will launch Pure Brilliance, a new fragrance for women, in September.
The "warm, optimistic" fruity floral was developed by perfumer Harry Fremont, and features notes of of pear, apple, green leaves, freesia, honeysuckle, muguet and blonde woods.
Celine Dion Pure Brilliance will be available in 15, 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via wwd)
“Optimistic”?
I’m speechless.
They are optimistic that CD fans will buy it?
Anyone else getting a look of disdain from Celine in this ad copy? It’s like she’s saying, “Buy my fragrance or you are dead to me!”
LOL!
Celine Dion Pure Brilliance!?! As opposed to what? Impure Brilliance? Sullied Brilliance? The name sounds like the utterance of a copywriter after a severe blow to the head.
“Pure Brilliance” as in, “The pure brilliance of the triumph of marketing and big names over taste and quality.” 😉
Ahhh! Sullied Brilliance. ROFL
🙂
It seems to be a bad day for naming new perfumes (see Lola V). LOL
Perhaps…
My first thought was Wanted from Helena Rubinstein.
Why?
The picture and the colors.
Oh, gotcha! Yeah, I can see that.
How can a fragrance be optimistic if it has pear and apple?
Good question!
I’ll give it a try. I like works of Harry Fremont
He’s a great perfumer.
