Yikes, that was darn near pornographic!
For BBW, I guess! Compared to some other brands, it’s pretty darned tame.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Bath and Body Works ad before. Then again, we barely watch TV save for movies or what we’ve TiVo’ed, so that might explain it. This still sounds good, and I’d like to try it.
I don’t actually know if they run them on TV or not…I’ve never seen one either.
Yikes, that actually made me feel uncomfortable. Like I clicked on a fragrance ad but stumbled onto a girls-gone-wild link. I hope at least the model’s mother was on the set. (When did I become such a prude? lol)
You guys found this much more risque than I did…
Maybe it’s moment around the 8 second mark – tongue, lips and knowing look – that drags the thing down. Other than that its pretty tame. Music is very annoying, but I’m not the target market.
I know! I don’t understand it myself. lol It was just my immediate visceral reaction to the fact that she looks like a very young adolescent. I guess my thinking has changed since my niece hit puberty!
I’m totally confused by the art direction on this one. Sapphires are generally associated with Thailand, the ad screams Brazilian Lingere Model, and the perfume smells like peaches from Georgia canned in Green Bay Wisconsin. Go figure.
I don’t think most people will analyze it at that level though 😉
Seems downright wholesome to me after that Calvin Klein men’s underwear vid, Robin.
LOL — exactly! And a far sight more wholesome than CK Secret Obsession.
