Yes. Someone needs to come out with a “Flanker Repellant” fragrance. Niche line, of course, since perfumistas are the only ones who will get it. *sigh* My humor is often obscure. I’m used to being the only one laughing. :P

I usually find things even funnier if I’m the only one who finds something funny. :)

And *I* think you’re hilarious, so there!

Oh, I totally agree. And the more I try to keep my amusement to myself when it’s clear no one else is getting it, the harder it is to hold it in, which is really embarrassing in intimate settings like waiting for an appointment or during dinner and the like. At least The CEO is just as guilty given we enjoy a lot of the same “nerdy” amusements like Monte Python and MST3k, which can often apply to almost any situation in life. :)

Thank you both! So at least, if I’m the only one laughing here, I know you’ll be laughing as well wherever you are. :D
And I was just searching for a dvd set of MST3K the other day!

I must admit that at least “Summer Romance” is a good name: attractive and a logical association with the original. Much more compelling than the usual flanker nomenclature with its random assortment of nouns and adjectives tacked on to the name of the original scent.

      I would agree with that!

My first thought too was that the simple name is actually a brilliant one for a flanker!

I’m picturing the playful passion fruit, hibiscus and tiare flowers doing the rhumba with the sensual apricot musk.

At least it’s pink, and pink it’s definitely turning my head ;-) might be a cheaper Chance Eau Fraiche/Lacoste Pink/whatever summer scent: Spray on, feel good, forget it.

I like tropical florals and passion fruit certainly doesn’t hurt, either. If it didn’t come in such a *huge* bottle, I’d be more inclined to pick it up. But it does sound nice for summer and the name is sweet.

This actually sounds really pleasant to me. But then again am a sucker for fruit, and apparently almost anything with tiare in it is a hit with me. Too bad my tiny JCPenney Sephora will probably not have it. I’ll just wait until it hits the bargain perfume websites- just in time for summer : )

You’re better off getting it at discount anyway — $78 is not cheap.

No kidding! I wish it was less expensive and/or available in a smaller size. at 100ml I’d probably still be wearing it when my brother’s kids have kids!
