Posted by Robin on 8 March 2010 7 Comments

Mexx XX by Mexx Lovesome & Mysterious

Mexx has launched XX by Mexx Lovesome and XX by Mexx Mysterious, new flankers to 2008's XX by Mex Nice and XX by Mex Wild duo.

XX by Mexx Lovesome ~ a romantic fresh floral with notes of pear, blackberry, raspberry leaves, white flowers, freesia, sandalwood, musk and vanilla.

XX by Mexx Mysterious ~ a sensuous fruity floral with notes of black currant, green apple, apricot, pink pepper, peony, freesia, plum, sandalwood, musk and amber.

XX by Mexx Lovesome and XX by Mexx Mysterious are available in 20 and 40 ml Eau de Toilette. (via jebe.de, douglas.de)

Oh look, this is getting ridiculous. If someone stops you in the street and says, ‘Hey, what’s that great scent you are wearing?’, do you want to have to say ‘It’s a fragrance by Mexx called XX by Mexx Mysterious, not to be confused with that other one by Mexx called XX by Mexx Lovesome … ‘. Or do you want to be able to say ‘Chamade, by Guerlain’, or ‘Coco, by Chanel’. Or whatever.

    Good grief.

I am guessing that depends. Surely there are age cohorts that would rather say XX by Mexx Mysterious.

I’ve never heard of this brand till seeing this, and the bottle designs look like a rip off of the JLo Glow bottles. *Shrugs* Have a nice day Robin, always enjoy your postings :)

They do sell in the US, but I think the brand is better known overseas.

Got a sample of it, they were giving samples away to everyone who came into the drugstore. It is nice, not overly sweet. It is flowery and a little fruity. Something for young women.

The sample was of the right one.
