If Fisher Price ever mad e a fragrance they could surely use those models.
And actually I would have called the fragrance Burberry Hunger, those models look HOOOONGRY.
(Sorry, It’s one of those days)…
Of course they’re hungry, they’ve been a’sporting!
I can’t decide whether they look more BORED or more ANGRY —neither emotion particularly motivates me to purchase fragrance.
Burberry Sport? more like Burberry Somewhat Annoyed.
I’m sure they spent loads of pretty green dollars on this ad campaign, but it looks to me like they found two pretty youngsters, dressed them up in “sporting” type clothing (but not shirts, naturally) , and gave them no further direction. (which apparently made our pretties a little irritated). I don’t ask for much from a perfume ad (or any ad) but maybe a point? Which reminds me—for the first time I saw the Old Spice ad on TV last night—the CEO was roaring with laughter! I’m going to have to spring some Old Spice on him soon….something I never thought I’d do! (I’m on a horse!) 🙂
This seemed more like a “making of” for the print ad than a real commercial — certainly they didn’t put so much into as they did for The Beat.
Old Spice thing is way funny (too bad my dad wore it – that sort of makes it off limits for The CEO).
You could layer Old Spice w Burberry Sport-maybe he’d like it:) The models do need some food and quickly before they fall off the boat.
This would have made a little more sense if perhaps the models could have been participating in, oh I don’t know, SOME sort of activity, as opposed to just standing around looking morose? That was one of the blandest ads ever.
Yep. Seemed almost more like an ad for the clothing.
This reminded me of the Tommy Hilfiger.I think this will be another hit for Burberry I can see alot of young people buying this.
Sure, why not.
It’s a shame. Lily Donaldson is usually a better model than this. It doesn’t make much sense to hire one of the highest paid models to stand around and look bored, preferably attractively bored.
Have to agree…usually you think of sport fragrances as being refreshing/energizing, this would appear to be sullen instead.
I suppose the female model is holding her jacket together halfway through because she’s shirtless underneath. 🙂
I was wondering about that!
