The fragrance reminded of C21, but I didn’t like it half that much.
Actually, I didn’t like it at all.
But my MIL’s cat, went crazy: he gave me a surpirsingly warm reception and couldn’t stop licking my hand. That was sweet and strange.

P.S.When I went to smell Tome1, I came out with a pair of Z&V skinny jeans and sweaters, so that sniffing session did a great $$$ damage and gave a deceiving sniffing output.
And at 35, I don’t know if I should still wear stuff targeted for teen-agers… well, anyway, It felt good to fit in in those jeans :D!!

It was the fragrance from costume nationale (I missed an N, I suppose 🙁 ), the one in the white bottle, for their 21st anniversary or something like. I had a couple of samples: it was milky and spicy, and only vaguely floral. I think you reviewed it.
But then, I went cryptic with C21 …I fill your blog with typos, I’m sorry.

Oh, right! I should have figured that one out. I did like that one.

ITA on it being like the Costume Nationale ‘milky’ thing, Zazie, and I didn’t like the Z&V nearly as much. I found it harsh and strangely artificial for something selling itself on a white and pure ticket.

Ahh, Z&V is for teenagers! (it shows my ignorance in the area of fashion!!!), hence the video…
I wonder if your partner would like the perfume as much as your cat Zazie, now that would be a plus!

        No he didn’t!!!
        At all.
But he whistled at the jeans, which I took as “go ahead, buy something you will never wear!!”.
        😉
        I can be soooo stupid…

          P.S.
My definition of teenager: anyone being at least ten years younger.
          I use broad definitions….
Well, my grand aunt, 80-something, refers to her group of female friends (from 70 to 90-something) as “the girls”.
Well, they do have a young spirit: taking aperitivi and so on….
They are indeed a lovely group of girls!

Well then, one less perfume to buy, which is another kind of plus seeing that you already spend some $$$ on whistling tight jeans ;). He probably whistled a “babe you look hot on these” kind of whistled!!!

Don’t let age dictate what to wear! If you look good, that’s all that matters. I’m fifty but don’t look it. And 35 isn’t even close too old, seriously, anyone would agree. If I could get away with skinny jeans I would…In your face x-husband! 😉

Robin, thank you for posting this! From what I read about the perfume, it sounds interesting (patchouli and milk! and I do love patchouli) so I’m curious to try it. But boy is this video booo-ring or what? The version of Maravillosa is actually irritating. But then again, I’m way outside the age group they seem to be targeting.

It is not action-packed, but I kind of like it: I think I’ve come to appreciate “relaxing” perfume commercials after all the frenetic sexiness most of them go after…

Yes, you do have a point for the visuals… but the song spoiled it for me with that ding ding at the beginning and all. A matter of taste, isn’t it?
