Posted by Robin on 9 September 2009 11 Comments

Roger & Gallet L'Homme Sport cologne for menFemme Fekkai Sensuelle

Roger & Gallet has launched L'Homme Sport (shown above left), a flanker to 1979's Roger & Gallet L'Homme. The new version is said to be faithful to the spirit of the original, but purer and fresher.

L'Homme Sport features notes of grapefruit, tea, pink pepper, cardamom, vetiver and woody-amber notes.

Roger & Gallet L'Homme Sport is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette, and can be found now at Escentual in the UK. (via beaute-addict, escentual)

Upscale hair care line Frederic Fekkai has launched Femme Fekkai Sensuelle, a new range that includes an Eau de Parfum for hair (shown above right); the tag line (written on the bottle itself) is "The spirit of a woman revealed".

The notes include neroli, citron leaves, orange bigarade, mandarin, bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, musk, amber, honey, cumin, birch and carrot seed.

Frederic Fekkai Femme Fekkai Sensuelle is available in Eau de Parfum, size unknown. (via osmoz, beaute-addict, elle.de)

I can’t wait until a company launches an update that’s “faithful to the spirit of the original, but dirtier and danker.”

Me too! I won’t get my hopes up about this one, as soon as I hear pure and fresh, that reads “ozone” to me. Not my cup of tea.

The Fekkai hair edp sounds pretty enough. I wonder how much it will cost. Not that being made for hair will stop me from using it elsewhere, just as other perfumes intended for the body haven’t stopped me from spraying a bit in my hair. The neroli and orange blossom combined with the jasmine and honey does actually sound a bit on the sexy side.

Its 95 euros, I think. Doesn’t seem to be in the US or even on the Fekkai website yet.

Hmm…. this hair edp sounds interesting. I love Fekkai’s Glossing Cream series – fab stuff for my fine curly hair.

It could be…I like the sound of the notes! But sounds kind of expensive.

L’Homme? I thought I was looking at YSL.

Well, apparently R&G used the name long before YSL 😉
