Ooohhhh – some people are just so creative aren’t they? Very fun…and funny! A lettuce perfume? Next…carrot? I love bunnies. So cute.

They ought to do a carrot! And that exhausts my knowledge of what bunnies eat — although actually they seem to eat everything we grow 🙂

I can tell you that Michigan bunnies survive quite happily on a diet of Japanese maples and burning bushes….

And if you’re very unlucky, entire beds of daylily tubers and assorted bulbs, eh?

            AARRRRRRRGGGGG! damn fat moles!
            I hate landscape eaters indiscriminately….

Yeah, plus the groundhogs. We did not get much lettuce this year.

Hey, I stopped at the garden store the other day because they had all lilies 20% off and loaded with buds about to pop open…I got a couple pots of Stargazer and several of two other varieties that are also dark pink/white that smell amazing….right now I”m enjoying them perfuming my house from the back patio! then I’ll plant them so the moles can eat them this winter….sigh…

Daisy–go for the EDP. Don’t even waste your time on the EdT. Also–one of my favorite stories to tell from childhood is how my mom used to sit in the front yard in the middle of the night with a shotgun and shoot moles. She was so tired of them eating all of her tulips, and nothing else was working to get rid of them. My dad has a great picture of her in her pretty dress and high heels, shot gun in one hand, dead mole in the other. (We really weren’t wacky hillbillies. Just nutes.)

That is one of the best stories ever.

Nuts. I meant to write nuts. I don’t even know what “nutes” would be. Maybe that’s what’s worse than being nuts. 🙂

I;m so glad you amended that….I was wracking my poor caffeine riddled brain….nutes, nutes, nutes?
I completely get your mom….I have been known to take a few potshots with a .22 at groundhogs feasting on my greenbeans clad only in a skimpy nightie…(me in the nightie, not the groundhogs.)
