In lieu of a new review today, I've updated a 2005 review of Amouage Ubar to talk about the recently relaunched version. I'm also working on an update of the Kenzo Air review to consider Kenzo Air Intense; that should post in the next hour or so.

I’ve already used up almost all of my mini of Kenzo Air- and FragranceNet is out of stock! Just now when I’ve gotten addicted to it with the warm weather…
Mine is almost gone too, although that’s mostly from spillage while decanting … this is NOT a decant-friendly bottle!
Ooh… KenzoAir Intense. Did you get a bottle or just a sample/decant?
Sample/decant — I wouldn’t ever buy anything with cumin unsniffed. I don’t think. Probably not…
hmmm, is that “wavering” I sense?
Well, you know — never say never!
Well, I have tried the Ubar twice, and thought it was not as much of a humungous scary deal as I thought it would be, being an Amouage. The civet was noticeable, but not too bad, and I quite liked the floral notes, however, overall, Ubar had that classical, powdery vibe that isn’t quite me. Not heady and perfumey like Gold, more like Lyric in terms of general “feel”.
No, not scary at all.
