I have no clue who the guy is, what his band sounds like, or how you get the juice out of that strange white orb of a bottle, but the notes sound very much like my cup of tea. Have the others in the line been any good?

most of the other’s were rather standard “Boss” fragrances, that means, “masculine”. except for the green edition. to me, it smelled basically identical to Chanel’s “Allure Homme Sport”. sweet and aromatic. less “masculine sport fragrance”.

Thanks for the reviews! Sounds like this may turn out to smell less interesting than its description.

I’m glad prism answered — I’ve paid very little attention to the HB masculine line (and not much more to the feminine).

The button is on the top of the orb, and the juice squirts out of the middle… not suited to my tiny hands at all, but its probably easier for guys with their bigger hands.

Did they change the bottle? The way it used to work is that the entire visible bottle, the sphere, is the “sprayer”: there’s an opening at the bottom to let it sit flat, this exposes the glass of the bottle, and you put your thumb against the glass and press upwards while pressing down against the top with another finger or two. Very clever, really.

As our blogmistress would say, I’d spray it in my eye.

Ha…sprayed some Omnia on my shoe many moons ago trying to figure it out — took a surprisingly long time to go away.

save for the Vetiver and Musk at the end, it sounds really interesting. especially the blood orange and the cinnamon….. i hope it’ll smell as juicy as it sounds. (i loved to order fresh OJ from Starbucks with their Cinnamon Dolce syrup.)

me too, Hermes’ Vetiver Tonka is one of my all time faves. but it’s just such a standard basenote, just like musk. musk is basically in EVERYTHING.

It does sound quite good actually! I’ve been a fan of the Boss in Motion editions ever since they first started. I’ve owned blue, green, and black. But I’ve consistently detested most of the Hugo Boss range!

It’s not my favorite line, but have never tried any of this series.

    Dear Issey Miyake,

Please get jealous of this bottle and re-release Le Feu. Thanks!

    This sounds good….

I know someone who was obsessed with Tyson Ritter for years (maybe she’s over him now that she’s in college…)
I know I’ve heard many of their songs, but I don’t remember what they sound like because they aren’t very memorable

I bet they can make an ordinary fragrance with such ingredients… Can you even imagine a HB masculine fragrance that was not a bit boring? Too much focused in youth men, I think.

Love the idea of “they can make an ordinary fragrance with such ingredients”…that would make some fun ad copy :-)
