L’Occitane Fleurs de Pecher / Peach Blossom ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 March 2009 25 Comments

L'Occitane Peach Blossom fragrance

L'Occitane has launched Fleurs de Pêcher / Peach Blossom, a new fragrance for women:

This exquisite fragrance takes you on a journey to the heart of a Provençal orchard, bathed in sunshine. The delicate touch of peach blossom petals blends with the tenderly sweet and velvety scent of white peaches. A subtle delicacy with a soft and powdery trail.

Contains a peach blossom extract from Provence.

The notes feature white peach, citron, bergamot, peach blossom, peony, almond, tonka bean, cedar, musk and iris.

L'Occitane Fleurs de Pêcher / Peach Blossom is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching bath, body and home fragrance products. It is available now in the UK and France, and will presumably launch in the US soon. (via uk.loccitane, fr1.loccitane)

Mmmm I feel bad about them using THE SAME bottle as for Fleurs de Cerisier.

Still I like some of their frags, so I'll give it a shot… might be good as a gift ;-)

For the record, I love the Verbena and Verbena Agrumes… unbeatable as summer frags. The male eau de toilettes (and some of the women's) are a bit old fashioned IMHO. My partner uses the Vetiver and its powdery basenotes give me a headache sometimes.

Ooh, and just in time for their 20% off sale! I think the sale is only for a few days through the 15th (Sunday).

I like some of their fragrances too, but peach blossom in general doesn't much appeal to me. Might sit this one out. Can never get samples out of them anymore anyway.

Don't know if it's in-store in the US yet though…hopefully it will be!

Oh, I'll have to try this. I'm a sucker for peaches in the summer.

Hope it's as lovely as it sounds, in which case it will be my first L'Occitane fragrance! I like Verbena too but on me it lasts about 15 minutes, and who needs that when Herba Fresca lasts for hours and hours?

If this is well done, it will be the first nice peach fragrance this side of the Atlantic since the lovely Mira-Bai was discontinued … a tragedy that was :-(

First thought: the poor man's/woman's Péché Cardinal?

Second thought: I've still never tried that JM Nectarine Blossom thing.

Third thought: I'd like to try this for kicks, but L'O *REALLY* needs to bring back more of those 20ml jobs… is anyone listening to me!!!?

Fortunately, they're easy enough for me to try since there's a shop very centrally located in my town, though it's often so empty I feel guilty walking in only to spritz myself with no intention of buying anything.

The only one I think I was ever really tempted to buy was Ruban d'Orange. Unfortunately I never see it in a travel size. Actually not even sure they still make it.

Last I was in the store, they had an impressive rack of little travel sizes…I think some of the scents might have been 20 ml or even less. But none of the ones I wanted, of course.

Peach scents are good on me only for a few minutes then turn sour after awhile. I dont know why ! I want to love them, but they dont love me back. :)

I just PERFECTLY ADORED a discontinued Fragrance of L'Occitane called “Lotus Blossom” It was truly one of the best scents i have ever smelled… this sounds just as delicious and i will be awaiting it with baited breath! It Sounds Truly LUSCIOUS! I might wear it myself.. do love Jo Malones Nectarine Blossom Fragrance and wear that one all the time!

This is planned to be the focus for Mother's Day, and will be introduced in mid-late April. As far as I'm aware, the only travel size edts available in the US are Green Tea, Amber, Iparie, Rose des 4 Reines, and the Myrtle, Jasmine, and Neroli edps. You might be able to find a really small Iris edp in stores too, but you might have to ask.

Very, very light faint smell. I guess it would be a good summer scent. But I did not spray that much on me. Maybe this weekend I will go back to the mall and spray a little more so it will smell.

Your welcome! I have just smelled it again. Again very faint. It does not last on me at all.
