Lulu Time ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 1 March 2009 7 Comments

Time fragrance by LuluPop singer Lulu (remember To Sir, With Love?) has launched Time, her debut fragrance:

Never too sweet, to [sic] fruity or too strong TIME Eau de Toilette makes you feel happy, confident, warm, and a little sexy. A modern, but familiar fragrance TIME is a blend of scents from the '60s, like patchouli (incense), musk oil (but very light) combined with bergamot, an exotic spicy fragrance native to Southeast Asia, which helps relieve anxiety and stress, and pink pepper from Peru, another light spicy scent. Capture time in a bottle...past, present and future. It will make you feel young, happy, secure, sexy, hopeful.

Additional notes include lemon and jasmine.

Lulu Time is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (quote via lulusplace.co.uk, additional information via qvcuk, found via telegraph.co.uk)

What is this spicy fragrance native to Southeast Asia?
This sounds alright, but I don't think it would be available in the US, which is fine with me because I'm not dying to try it anyway.
I went to a Greek Orthodox church today because I have to write a paper on a religious service for Intro to Religion, and there was lots of incense.

That's referring to the bergamot, which is probably one of the the most widely used aroma materials in perfumery.

Oh — and was it nice incense?

the incense smelled a lot like the L'Artisan/Aedes de Venustas perfume

My mom uses Indian or Japanese incense and I like that better

Sounds like I would have liked it better than you! I like Japanese incense too though.

Well, I don't know a darned thing about her other than that one song — perhaps she is still well known in the UK??
