Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Une Goutte de Nuage ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 4 December 2008 7 Comments

Issey Miyake Une Goutte de Nuage/A Drop of CloudIssey Miyake will launch L'Eau d'Issey Une Goutte de Nuage (A Drop of Cloud), inspired by "the meeting of water and sky". Une Goutte de Nuage is the third in the series of flankers that includes L’Eau d’Issey Une Goutte sur un Pétale (2007) and L'Eau d'Issey Reflets d'une Goutte (2008).

The new fragrance was developed by perfumer Daphné Bugey, and the original notes of rose and lotus from L'Eau d'Issey are joined by white wood, white tea and powdery musk.

Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Une Goutte de Nuage will launch in February 2009, and will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via abc-luxe, vogue.fr)

    Lovely bottle and notes.

Pity this fragrance doesn't work for me. Earlier versions smell quite stunning on a few of my friends, but only Le Feu worked for me.

I did try the last Goutte but sadly, don't remember a darned thing about it except that it wasn't disgusting.

I just tried 'dune Goutte because it was fab on the paper but it was just one of those watery things. Not horrible but disappointed – I love these bottles and the general vibe.

Man, this label is rocking. Didn't they just release that amazing-looking (bottle-wise, anyway) parfum of the original L'Eau d'Issey?
They all sound far too… insubstantial to me, though.

I think the first 2 are the same scent, just in different bottles. This one is actually a new scent, if that helps.
