Posted by Robin on 5 September 2008 12 Comments

Davidoff Silver Shadow Altitude cologne for menDavidoff has launched Silver Shadow Private, the third fragrance in the series that includes Silver Shadow (2005) and Silver Shadow Altitude (2007).

Meant for the "unusual man with unusual passions", Silver Shadow Private features notes of bergamot, citrus, cardamom, lavender, violet, sesame, black leather, musk and ironwood.

Davidoff Silver Shadow Private is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products. (via bellemania.de, parfuemerie-thiemann.de)

Other recent launches from Davidoff: Davidoff Adventure, Cool Water Freeze Me.

    Unusual passions? Sounds mildly kinky.

I dislike Davidoff too much to even sniff this.

Something to do with the combination of sesame and black leather? (I am so cracking up too!)

Mildly kinky sounds better than usual for a perfume though 🙂

How about a seriously animalic fragrance? They could call it Silver Shadow Privates, heh.

    I couldn't resist. 🙂

This sounds rather generic, but I'm willing to give it a try because this is the house that brought us Zino Davidoff, one of the most sexy (and slightly dirty) scents in my collection.

I also think Cool Water is nice, but do not own it and could not wear it simply because of its ubiquity. Perhaps in a few years' time we'll be able to judge it more clearly…

Jan, I agree on Zino Davidoff, but it has become hard to get for me, and I must say that although I gave a couple of bottles as a gift, I never could sum up the courage to actually wear it myself!

Also agree on cool water, I feel the same about l'eau d´issey.

I will give it a try because of the look on that model.

He looks ready for some action! and the notes are right up my alley!! 🙂
