To support the launch of their latest fragrance for men, Infusion d'Homme, Prada has commissioned nine short films from "rising directors". The films were "inspired by the sensory associations of the Infusion d'Homme perfume".
You can watch them at the Prada website (look under "Projects" on the menu). (quotes via prada, found via wwd)
Robin, thanks so much for the link. I immediately clicked on the film from Cuba, since I live in “Cuba Norte” (Miami.) It's a glimpse of life in Cuba that's typically censored here in Miami. I found the film wonderful. Strangely, after that, I couldn't click back into the page listing the films. I'll try later.
A, glad at least one is worth watching…I'll try to watch them when I'm home from vacation. And I found it hard to move around on that site too.
I have to be honest; most of them were incoherent babble. When I'm back on a decent computer (mine is evil, plain and simple), I can list which ones I liked; there were two or three that resonated with me. As with the Prada clothing lines themselves, I get a weird Peter Keating feeling with most of them.
Of course, saying that, someone will come in here and slam me for not appreciating art and being a stupid ignoramus or whatever. That always happens! xD
Just to be safe, add “to me” before the period in the first sentence.
My laptop is evil too — that's why I'll watch them when I'm home from vacation.
