Tommy Hilfiger will launch Hilfiger, a new fragrance for men, this coming September. Like Hilfiger's recent Dreaming fragrance for women, the new scent is meant to appeal to an older, more upscale customer than the line has targeted in the past.
Hilfiger is an aromatic fougere; the notes feature bergamot, mandarin, pink grapefruit, juniper, rosemary, papaya, curcuma, mahogany wood, white tea rose, warm skin accord, suede, sandalwood, cistus, tonka bean, cashmere wood and patchouli.
Hilfiger by Tommy Hilfiger will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products. In the US, it will be exclusive to Macy's until December. (via wwd, bellemania.de) Update: see a review of Hilfiger by Tommy Hilfiger.
SOUNDS ULTRA YUMMY! I am a total sucker for anything with Rose in it! and i am even more a sucker when it's a men's fragrance! and Pink Grapefruit too!?!?! I am already in heaven! I will be Buying this one the moment it arrives! Sounds like Such a Winner!
Warm skin accord? Any guess as to what that might be?
Hope you'll love it!
A clean musky accord meant to smell like warm skin, seriously.
I'll bite — sounds very worth a try (used to love men's Tommy), although papaya strikes me like that old kids' show skit: “One of these things just doesn't belong.” Plus I'm ready to give business to anyone who offers 30ml these days…
I laughed out loud at “one of these things just doesn't belong”. That could apply to so many collections of notes in newer releases.
My quarrel w/ the 30 ml is that they're usually impossible to find, and in this case, not sure the 30 ml is coming to the US at all. That seems to be the way…Sephora is better than most though, they've got tons of small bottles these days.
