I am wearing a semi-old favorite, Burberry London for Men. I applied lightly, but if I had been thinking I would have used something less long-lasting since I have time to test out stuff at lunch today.

Have not heard of Odori Spigo, but the name itself is cool. What's it like?

I think 'spigo' is Italian for lavender. The perfume starts off with a blast of said lavender (along with mint), which rapidly fades into a soft, delicious, sweet skin scent. Very well-blended; hard to detect individual notes, but lovely.

Wish I could buy you a nice cup of tea away from the weeds and nookless suburban kitchen! Hope you're doing something terribly exciting — or, better yet (?) something sinfully relaxing?? Nothing to do with fragrance whatsoever — or immersed in the stuff, if that's yer druthers. We DO all miss you very much.

Ooh, Vanillagirl, I was looking at that Odori line since I got an email from Luckyscent saying that they're now carrying it. I WANT some, but it's so darn expensive. I love the bottles too — kind of reminds me of the HeWood bottle, but even nicer. Spigo sounds great, but also “Gli Odori” and maybe Iris. Sob…but I don't want to sample something expensive that might make me crave it.

Forgot to mention: Hope you have a great vacation, Robin. I'm wondering if you might be somewhere near my former regular summer vacation spot, Long Beach Island… or elsewhere at “the shore.” I live near the ocean here, but the Pacific is lacking a certain something that you find “down the shore.” Enjoy.
