Mariah Carey M Gold perfume

Mariah Carey has launched M by Mariah Carey Gold Deluxe Edition, a new limited edition collector bottle of her debut fragrance, M by Mariah Carey:

Wrap yourself in liquid gold. Introducing M by Mariah Carey Gold Deluxe Edition, the purest and most luxurious form of the M by Mariah Carey fragrance collection.

While packaged in the same beautifully shaped bottle as M by Mariah Carey, it is now dipped in a lavish metallic gold. Inside this stunning bottle is the most sensual form of the original fragrance and Mariah's favorite, the parfum. For a limited time only, experience the sensual notes and floralcy of the Tahitian Tiare flower that embody this magical fragrance, and lavish yourself in the Glamour of Gold.

M by Mariah Carey Gold is available in 50 ml Parfum (extrait), and is advertised as a "$595 value" being sold for $75. (via fragrance.mariahcarey, with thanks to JloveLamar for the tip)

Mariah should give these to members of her fanclub.

This is something I'd have expected from J.Lo…

That price is mind boggling. I wonder who'll buy it?

Really, does $75 seem mind boggling? I guess I've become jaded, it didn't seem at all bad to me for extrait.

Maybe it's just me, but I find that bottle very tacky! Looks really cheap, maybe it's nicer in person.

I like 'M', but I wouldn't spend that much on a celeb perfume.

She's just milking her fans who support her.

You know, I didn't like the original bottle so I'm not likely to appreciate it in gold metallic finish.

AWWW! That shout out to me was touching!

I love the bottle! I think its the best released last year and one of my favorite bottles ever! That being said, I like the Gold, but I don't like it being 1.7

“$595 value” being sold for $75.”
Does anyone else find that line confusing?

Lol, I thought the same thing. I think they mean its worth 595 but they sell it for 75

That might be my bad wording — yes, they mean it is worth 595 buy only costs 75.

    Hello,

I'm living in The Netherlands and does anyone know how to order from US to The Netherlands. The most sites don't deliver to Holland. Have you a site for me where I can order?

I hope someone can help me.

Hello Lisa, I am from The Netherlands, not living there though right now..zijn er bepaalde geuren die je zoekt? Ik bestel ook overal samples in Europa.

Lisa, on the website http://www.skins.nl you can find many fine niche fragrances and they send samples to your liking for free.

Try to find the samples that you like in Europe first unless they only available in the US of course. It shouldn't be a problem to send stuff to The Netherlands. If I don't hear anything I phone and that works better sometimes.

Lisa, you might keep an eye on strawberrynet.com, they seem to ship most everywhere although I haven't checked on Holland & doubt they have this yet. Another option would be to look for a contact email on the Mariah Carey Beauty site and see if they can help you.

I think celebrities really need to stick to what they do best. They should really stay out of the fragrance industry. I cannot imagine myself as a professional going into a meeting. When a person asks me what I am wearing, for my response to be M. C or Britney Spears.

“I cannot imagine myself as a professional going into a meeting. When a person asks me what I am wearing, for my response to be M. C or Britney Spears.”

You wouldn't be embarassed saying you're wearing Dolce and Gabbana??? Vera Wang??? They do the same damn thing B.S or MC does. Smell sticks and go “Umm. That smells good. Slap my name on it.” Why doesn't Versace stick to what she does??? Just sell clothes and don't branch out. If someone is at a meeting asking you what you're wearing they obviously thinks the fragrance smells good, professional or not. Who cares who made it?

Its quite alright. I just don't see why people are against celeb scents. I love em, and they've introduced me to a whole new world, AND introduced me to Robin ;). That's a treat by itself
