Calvin Klein will launch this year's limited edition versions of Eternity Summer in March.
The Eternity Summer for women fragrance was developed by perfumers Pascal Gaurin and Yves Cassar, and "captures the feeling of a perfect summer day at the sea". The notes for the green floral scent include bamboo leaves, basil, mandarine, jasmine, lily of the valley, neroli, musk, orris root and ginger. Eternity Summer for women will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Eternity Summer for men (shown) was developed by perfumers Jean Marc Chaillan and Carlos Benaïm. The notes for the aromatic fougere include aquatic accord, kumquat, citrus, mimosa, herbs, juniper berries, lavender, guaiac wood, cardamom, patchouli and amber. It will be available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (quote via cosmoty.de, additional information via osmoz.com)

Coming soon from Maître Parfumeur et Gantier, Bois de Turquie, the line's first unisex fragrance. The notes for the woody aromatic include bay leaf, geranium, iris and jasmine, and the fragrance will be in Eau de Toilette. I'll post more details when I can find them. (via obstyles.nouvelobs)
Update: additional notes include mandarin orange, orange blossom, sandalwood, patchouli, myrrh and frankincense, and Bois de Turquie will launch in April; 100 ml Eau de Toilette for €80.
I like the notes for that MPG, but I'm not sure how I feel about wearing 'Turkey Wood'!
Sounds good! I kinda hope this years Eternity smells different from 2007s, which smelled identical to 2006.
Hahaha Vanillagirl Turkey is not a bird :-D…it's a country! But then, what kind of trees do they have overthere? It seems such a bare place to me.
C, everything on earth sounds better in French, doesn't it?
It sounds very different, but that doesn't always mean anything.
C'est vrai!
MW, my French is so bad that I was thinking it was “turquoise wood”. And as you may have surmised, children who grow up speaking English are often puzzled by a country named after a big, flightless bird. At least I was. 😮
I think I liked it better when I thought it was “turquoise wood”.
My French is so bad I don't even translate, and it sounds just lovely as Bois de Turquie if you don't bother to think about what it means!
Ah, “turquoise wood” sounds wonderful.
I'm from Spain and I have already smelt this new Eternity Summer. I can say it smells quite similar to Eternity Summer 2005 (actually, I have it). It's different from the fresh scent of 2006 and 2007.
Thanks! I think I missed 2005, so it will be all new to me 🙂
I didn't even know there was a 2005 one! lol.
So that's news to me 😀
Actually I found 2007 to be much different from 2006. I fell in love with the fresh, clean, floral notes of 2006 and felt sadly disappointed when they didn't bring it back. Last year I sprayed a sample when they released the fragrance and found it to be quite repelling. I noticed they added a fruity note and on me it smelled stale and old ladyish.
I'm not sure I can remember any of them that well, although I know I tried last year's on a test card.
