The spicy-fresh scent includes notes of blood orange, sweet orange, tangerine, lemon, vetiver, gaiac wood, vanilla resins and frankincense.
L'Occitane Feu d'Orange will be available in 60 ml Eau de Toilette Intense, Soft Skin Oil, Sunny Shower Gel, lip gloss and scented candle. (via cosmoty.de)

Coming in March from Oscar de la Renta, Oscar Fresh Vanilla, a new fragrance for women:
The juice is described as a fusion of bright notes and warm seduction, opening on notes of bergamot and blackcurrant.
The heart is a blend of rose, marshmallow and orange blossom, leading to a base of vanilla, Peru balsam and musk.
Oscar de la Renta Fresh Vanilla will be available in 60 ml Eau de Toilette. (via moodiereport)
Other recent launches from Oscar de la Renta: Oscar Pink Lily, Oscar Red Orchid, Oscar Red Satin.
Have you tried any of the de la renta's? I haven't so I'm wodering if they are worth seeking out?
Where was that L'Occitane when I was craving citrus this past fall? It sounds lovely!
The ODR, eh, sounds very, very sweet. And if you squint that bottle looks a lot like SJP Covet.
I have, and have not been overly impressed with the “Oscar” series, e.g. Oscar Violet, Oscar etc, that are all in this same bottle. But I'm sure they have fans 🙂
OdlR has been using this bottle for years, so can't blame it on him 🙂
The L'Occitane does sound lovely. Sort of surprised they're doing another orange so soon after Ruban d'Orange — perhaps that one is on the chopping block?
The new L'Occitane sounds nice although I guess it will be as sweet as all their citrus scents (including Thé Vert and Thé Vert à la Menthe). Ruban d'Orange isn't bad, though. It was launched as an orange fragrance especially for wintertime, maybe the new one is the summer variation?
Just tried the new L'Occitane Feu d'Orange three days ago.
It's is quite nice but of course you have to love oranges a lot.
On me it didn't last very long. The Honey Lemon had more staying power.
Not bad though.
A blood orange scent? Oh my god. I am going to buy this without even smelling it. I don't even care if it lasts ten minutes on my skin. I want it.
What the hell is this deal with marshmallow as a fragrance note for adults? Yesterday's Ultrared has it, and now this new Oscar de la Renta. That's just messed up.
Yes it is a real orange scent in the most positive sense.
Marshmellows in a fragrance is messed up indeed.
Ah, maybe that's the point.
Thanks, I do love orange!
Pyramus, it sounds perfect, esp. with the weather we're having. I could use a spray of sunshine.
On the marshmallow: people want candy.
There's that dang marshmallow note again! 😀 I was already to rush out and try the new Oscar until I got to that part.
I guess I will have to satisfy my sniffage craving with the Feu d'Orange – it sounds very nice, since I do love orange. I was very impressed with all of the Notre Flore scents – I found them all well-composed and eminently wearable. Not pushing any envelopes, but not breaking any banks, either, which is enough to make me happy when perfume-shopping these days.
If you like blood orange, try Aqua Allegoria Orange Magnifica by Guerlain!
This new L'Occitane concoction actually sounds acceptable, however their prices have become so inflated and their gimmicks so tacky and contrived that I'm hesitant to ever walk into one of their stores again. And honestly, their citrus fragrances are cheaply made and disappear in seconds, as though the concept of “drydown” never existed. What's the bloody (pun intended) point?
It was enough of a tragedy having to work in the Rockefeller Center store for eight months and during the holiday season.
Very timely: LA Times food section had an article yesterday about it now being blood orange season, and that the fruit actually shares a common compound with raspberries that gives them somewhat of a “berry” flavor.
I'm actually pretty impressed with L'Occitane's scents even though many aren't for me. I like that several are available in travel sizes for under $25 (though Ruban d'Orange isn't). I also love orange scents and in summer I use a lot of Hermes Eau d'Orange Verte and Concentre d'Orange Vert. I'm also really curious about Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Arancia di Capri, though that series is pretty pricey (I like Fico di Amalfi and keep trying to snare a full bottle at a discount).
I think I would have liked the Notre Flore things better if they'd been at the regular L'Occitane prices. They were well-composed and very wearable, just didn't think they were that much more so than the rest of the fragrance line, maybe.
The citrus fragrances, it is true, don't last!
Oh I also love Concentre d'Orange Verte! It must be a unisex frg since in one store it is at the mens section and in the next at the womens.
Now is Jean Claude Ellena the nose of CdOVor someone else?
On basenets is is suposed to be JCE and here on NST it is someone else (can't remember who).
At this time of the year I would even spray a lemon or lime scent by L'Occitane, am so in need for a whole lot of vit. C.
the only l'occitane scent i've kept is their neroli. it has more oomph and is sexier than anything else of theirs i've tried. this new one sounds good to me, so i'll at least give it a whirl.
oh, and is it possible that the marshmallow note refers to the plant and not the confection? just a thought.
The Hermes oranges are great. I don't love the AdP, but many, many people do. The new-ish Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic might be my favorite for “juicy” orange.
Possible, but given what else I've smelled w/ marshmallow lately, not likely!
If you like Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte, Big Discount has the 15 ml size (0.5 oz) Concentre EDT for 5.95! I love the size; it's great for extended sampling, and for those occasions when you'd like to give a small and lovely gift.
Orange isn't usually my first choice for a citrus scent 9which I have been craving lately), but this one sounds intriguing. L'Occitane has amazing soap and body lotion – the shea milks smel nice in and of themselves and don't (usually) conflict with other scents. I was all ready to seek out the OdR until …that dreaded marshmallow note… I'll still sniff but i won't go out of my way. If I want to smell like S'Mores, I can just make them….
Wow, that's so cheap, thanks!
I am very fond of L'Occitane Shea Butter body products and prefer them without any extra scent added to them. They smell nice already. Was surprised to see their new scent is an orange scent but it smells like wonderful summer and that is so good in mid winter.
I actuallly like marshmellows but cannot begin to imagine what they would do in a fragrance.
There is no such thing as a marshmellow plant, or is there ?!
Always believed that marshmellows consist of gelatine, sugar and some artificial flavors.
MW: There is an actual plant, their sap was once the basis for the confection, but now of course the marshmallows that one buys in the store are just made from gelatin, sugar, etc., as you said.

I keep meaning to go buy some of the Ruban d'Orange body products, but never get around to it. Now I guess I might as well wait for this new one to come out and see which I like better…
Feu d'Orange is the first scent by l'Occitane I really like and I'm very tempted to buy it. It's a spicy-woody summer orange, not the refreshing type, but warm and comforting. And it last for more than two hours!
Agree, much warmer (and muskier) than last year's Ruban d'Orange — but figures that I liked Ruban d'Orange better anyway 😉
If I had the choice I would take the Feu. 😉 But is a a warm orange frag something I *really* need in summer? No. Not really.
I both love Lemon and Honey and Feu d'Orange, both warm and sunny frags.
Perhaps they're hoping it will sell in winter to the “I MISS SUMMER” crowd?
When this summer will be just as rainy as the last one was over here in central europe chances are good I'll go for Feu d'Orange as a “I miss summer scent” even in the midst of “summer”. 😉
No, no — wishing us both a perfect summer with hot days & cool nights! We need one.
Just received the L'Occitane Feu d'Orange in a swap last night. It is intense but in a yummy memory provoking way. It has a very orange pomander Christmas scent to it rather than just a citrus. It's fantastic and it dries down rather quickly to a soft spice. Very nice..if they had lotions and such…I'd be getting them immediately.
Glad you loved it! Turned out I liked the Ruban d'Orange better.
