She had me at 'white chocolate mousse'. Had me out the door, that is. Sounds a long way from the original? Still, it's impressively cheap.

Watched a programme last night (UK) about fast food and the damage it does to our bodies. Sugar, of course, is a major culprit and turns up in ever increasing amounts in the strangest of places leading to most of us developing a sweet tooth pretty much without our knowledge. This sounds like the olfactionary equivalent. I'm sure I'd get diabetes type 2 just by sniffing it! (Strange as the original had good reviews, no?)

I loved the original so I'll check this out once it's released over here. Wrote down though, it sounds like Fantasy v.2.

Sounds more like an exclusive milkshake to me.

The bottles look OK, both the same but different colours.

The the colours in the ad fit very well with the coming spring makeup looks.

Well, you know, the original was sweet. The sweet was just tempered by deeper, darker notes. If she pulls that off again, I'll be happy — but I admit this one sounds more like a food-fest.

Could be, LOL! As I said above though, I do think the original was pretty sweet.

I need to add a closeup of the bottle — it is the same shape, but has decoration on it.

I am such a fan of the original With Love, and it's one of my favourite current winter scents and I love the classic timeless faceted bottle which doesn't scream “Hilary Duff”. In fact there's no branding or lettering on the bottle at all.
The new bottle in the pink and green looks much teeny bopper and garish. The sweet notes of the scent sound nice but much more commercial and conventional that With Love. Still, it can't be sweet as Pink Sugar and as commented above, great price!

It may well be that this is a play to get a younger audience — I thought With Love was surprisingly “mature” for a celeb scent.

I'd still like to smell it, even if it turns out to be not for me. I loved her first perfume…I guess the sweetness depends on the amount of each note added too. Hopefully she went with more of the base notes to stand out and less of the fruity sweetness.

Forgot to say that her With love perfume is still my favorite celeb scent, if I had to choose.

I was very impressed by how restrained and classy it was..and MUA reviews suggest it's been very popular, even with the younger crowd you might expect to reject anything vaguely 'old lady'. I didn't find it all that sweet, though, certainly not in the league of the Paris Hiltons or Christina Aguilera. The colour of the juice was part of its charm for me – it was properly perfume-coloured! It's a bit disappointing to see this new one drifting into World of Pink.

What I find funny is that I hear her name bandied about in the gossip rags all the time, but I have absolutely no idea what her claim to fame is, though I would say with certainty that she's some kind of television/movie actress and not a singer. I'm really not that pop-culturally illiterate, but there are B-list people who are completely off my radar. Oh, and the celebrity fruity-floral isn't yet on its deathbed, I see.

know nothing about the original one, but the list of notes on this one really freak me out, I just couldn't help thinking “citrus + chocolate vanilla milk”? hm…

From a distance that bottle looks like a crossdesign of the two bottles Diamonds and Diva.

She's actually not that bad, they don't have too much to gossip about. I have 2 dtrs under 13 so I know more about this kind of stuff than a grown woman probably should. She had a really cute sitcom on disney for a few years that morphed into a relatively sucessful singing and movie career. If she's b list she's in the top of the b's. And God bless her, she keeps her clothes on in public and her vices (whatever they may be) behind closed doors – that's more than most celebs can do these days!

I own and enjoy Hilary Duff's first fragrance. As for her 'flanker' sequel, as soon as I saw the word 'fruity', I totally lost interest in trying it. As for the name of this scent…Why not just name it something other than a spinoff off the first? Hilary Duff Fruity Passion or Hilary Duff Number 2? These 'sequels' are making me laugh. So, I'll leave you with these words regarding her new scent as I sit back giggling and shaking my head… “Oh Brother”.

Agree, it was way classy for a celeb scent, and not as sweet as it could be. Also though — thought it smelled better than it sounded. Maybe this one will be the same, despite World of Pink 😉

Joe, I'm entirely pop-culture-illiterate, so it actually helps me when celebs launch scents: I find out who they are, LOL…

Orange + milky chocolate is actually ok with me, in small doses every so often — Aquolina Chocolovers, for instance.

I found With Love VERY fruity in the top notes though, and very very sweet. After that, it was great. So going to hold out a wee bit of hope for this one!

“Hilary can’t get enough of fragrances. After the successful “With Love”, she has released her second star signed fragrance, “Wrapped With Love”. It is much more light and playful opposed to the oriental and spicy “With Love”. Even the bottle is pretty similar, in a fun pink color decorated with spring flowers. Inside you’ll find a sophisticated fruity floral odor, with scents of honeydew, plum, mandarin, white lily, blood orange, mangos teen, violet, raspberry, must, vanilla bean and white chocolate mousse.”

I'm not that keen on the printed bottle – too cutesy. Oh, I don't like the name either.

With Love was surprisingly mature for a celebrity fragrance targeting 'tweens. That's why this is so desperately disappointing. It is sweet, forgettable, nondescript, completely devoid of risk – which is why I expect it should do well. I work at a Macy's fragrance counter so I should know – the general public does not welcome challenge.

I thought the original With Love was decent, and I remember testing it for the fun of it when I found it Kohl's. It's definitely a sweet scent, but it does get a bit spicier on the dry down – it was still sweet, but not as sweet as the other celebrity perfumes (in my opinion at least).
It wouldn't be something that I would own though, because that kind of scent just isn't up my alley.
I'll agree with others that Hilary has definitely hopped on the Pink Train, and it does look like she's created a gourmand-ish scent that might have the potential to become Fantasy Part Deux (or as someone posted on here, Fantasy V.2). It definitely has that mass-market appeal, no doubt about that. We'll have to see at the release though.

Sad to see the more complex original phased out of stores in lieu of this tacky pink Wrapped WL bottle version. It's too saccharine for my taste, and def. for the younger set.

Celeb scents don't tend to stay on counter long, do they? Agree the original was way better, but wouldn't be surprised if this one sells better.
