Benetton has introduced White Night, a new duo of fragrances for men and women "...with vibrant and magnetic notes to celebrate the fleeting magic of white nights".
White Night Woman features notes of clementine, kiwi, bergamot, datura, night jasmine, mimosa, sandalwood, panna cotta accord and white musk.
White Night Man includes grapefruit, hazelnut leaves, tonka bean, mineral accord, white cedarwood and white musk.
Benetton White Night Woman and White Night Man are available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette. (via benetton)
Other recent launches from Benetton: B.United Jeans.
I find the name + concept quite odd since, in French, “passer une nuit blanche” means you've not slept all night. The scent of insomnia, perhaps?
I assume they meant being up all night in a good way, e.g. having fun as opposed to insomnia, LOL…but at my age, it would have to be insomnia 😉
The women's, unfortunately, sounds gross: another fruity floral (I'm guessing) sitting atop, for some reason, blancmange. The men's could be nice, or not; it's hard to tell (although it sounds promising).
But those bottles kick ass!
Yeah, I feel you…
The men's does sound much more appealing. Not sure what I think of the bottles — would like to see them outside the plastic boxes.
the plastic boxes are part of the bottle, same as the other united colours of benetton, my customers think they are 'trendy'
OH! I had no idea.
I have not heard of these Benetton fragrances and I'm reading this review for the first time. But if I may: I think the “white Nights” are those that occur in the northern hemisphere such as Russia and Finland when it's dark only for 2 hours at night in May-June.
(Ce sont les “nuits blanches du pole nord”)
Usually it's very touristy and there are lots of festivities and music in the streets etc.
It was a nightmare when I visited St petersbourg 2 years ago during that period (on business) and could not go to sleep in my room at the old and famously luxurious Astoria Hotel due to the noise on the streets.
Some people find those nights to be “magic”. I personally found them to be a total nuisance, just like anything Benetton creates…lol
LOL!
