Saffron James Le’a, ‘Ume & Punono, Vazquez & Rincon Tropical Breeze ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 27 December 2007 3 Comments

The niche line Saffron James has launched with three new fragrances inspired by the exotic flowers of Hawaii:

Le'a, an "olfactory homage to the Plumeria flower", with notes of pink and white plumeria, pineapple leaf, passionflower and hibiscus.

'Ume, an "olfactory homage to the White Ginger flower", featuring ginger absolute, waterlily, gardenia, yuzu and oakmoss.

Pūnono, an "olfactory homage to the Puakenikeni flower", including notes of ylang ylang, pikake, carnation, vanilla and Tunisian opium.

Saffron James Le'a, 'Ume & Pūnono are available in 30 ml Eau de Parfum, and are $85 each. (via saffronjames) Update: The Saffron James fragrances were developed by perfumer Sarah Horowitz-Thran of Creative Scentualization.

Vazquez & Rincon Tropical Breeze cologneVazquez & Rincon Tropical Breeze is a new fragrance for men from Boca Raton-based Julius Air:

The top-note oils responsible for the fresh, initial scent of Vazquez & Rincon Tropical Breeze has a unique blend of bright, citrus notes of bergamot, limes, lemon, grapefruit and petigrain followed by a surprising accent of pineapple, juicy melon, cranberry and cassis.

The brisk clarity of rosemary, sage and lavender forge a counterpoint to the clove, bay and thyme notes of masculine florals. Jasmin and geranium are reinforced with fir balsam, cypress and spearmint and a touch of cucumber for freshness.

The fragrance evolves into a warm, sensuous background of sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, amber, oakmoss and a classic musk complex.

Vazquez & Rincon Tropical Breeze is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette ($43); a 50 ml size will launch in January 2008. US residents can request a free sample at tropicalbreezefragrance.

Nice Robin, you come with surprising fragrances, I mean I wouldn't have heard about them if not for NST!

They look very appealing. And in the midst of winter I begin to long for more sunshine and more hours of daylight by now :-).

The packaging is nice on the Saffron James, isn't it? I could use some more sunshine myself.
