Sonoma Scent Studio Ambre Noir ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 31 October 2007 9 Comments

Sonoma Scent Studio Ambre Noir perfumeSonoma Scent Studio has launched Ambre Noir:

Not your sweet, powdery amber, but amber with an edge. Dusky labdanum is at the heart of this rich scent, with cedar and sandal in the base and beautiful deep rose weaving between the woods. Accents of smoky agarwood, earthy patchouli, warm cardamom, and dry vetiver complete the composition. For those who enjoy the dark side of amber.

Additional fragrance notes include oakmoss absolute and myrrh.

Sonoma Scent Studio Ambre Noir is available in 15 or 30 ml Eau de Parfum; samples are also available. (via sonomascentstudio)

Other recent launches from Sonoma Scent Studio: Champagne de Bois, Rose Musc, Cameo & Jour Ensoleille.

Love Sonoma Scent Studio; amber doesn't usually work for me, but I'll need a sample of this.

Amber isn't my thing either, but the other notes sound great — I'll need a sample too!

OK, this sounds pretty doggone yummy to me, especially with all those woods seductively calling out my name.

Wish I had known about the Studio when I was up in Sonoma this past summer; I would have certainly dropped in. Their scents look interesting. I may need to visit my friends in that area more often – LoL.

She does a lot of woody scents, so right up my alley. Just trying Bois de Champagne last night, lots of sandalwood & fizzy aldehydes — interesting combo.
