Yves Rocher Neonatura Souffle ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 October 2007 6 Comments

Yves Rocher Neonatura Souffle perfumeYves Rocher has launched Néonatura Souffle, a new fragrance inspired by the warm sun and sand of holidays at the seaside:

A vibrant mix of mandarin, jasmine, ylang-ylang – sensual, radiant notes, as airy as they are warm. Eau de Parfum Néonatura souffle, the essential link with living Nature that offers balance and replenishment.

Néonatura Souffle was developed by perfumer Delphine Lebeau; additional notes include bergamot, citron and benzoin. It is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, and can be found now in Great Britain and France. We'll have to wait for it to reach the US. (quote via yves-rocher.co.uk, additional information via osmoz, yves-rocher.fr, yves-rocher.de)

Other recent launches from Yves Rocher: Rose Absolue, Iris Noir.

Update: Néonatura Souffle was introduced as Néonatura Breath in the US.

This is a very nice one. Reminds me Emporio Armani White in the base notes, but it's sweeter and softer in the beginning.
I would defenitely buy it, if it were labeled Armani instead of Yves Rocher, because I just can't help thinking of YR as a mass-market brand.
    Shame on me.

Sounds nice, thanks — looking forward to trying it! I've no problem buying something mass-market so long as it smells good 🙂

I finally bought a bottle of shower gel (nobody saw it, I take showers when nobody sees me, I won't tell anyone, you won't tell anyone, so I'm safe from this mass-market thing).. And it was delightful! Aroma wich could be easily named with the word “White”…..Like “smth white notes”, or even be about the Moon and moonstones! I actually like those fragranses. They aren't about fresh see water or summer breezes or high silver moutains, but still they are fresh and interesting.

It has some spicy accords, and of a dessert (souffle?), but it will never come to mind that you want to eat it (with chokolate&mint or warm vanilla sugar it happend – I had to restrain the temptation really hard), and those white flowers appear.

It is a perfection for a cold winter morning. I won't exchange my 200ml bottle of the gel for anything in the world:)

And I promise not to tell if you go back for the lotion & EdP!

Just holding the EDP bottle is sensuous. Oval and smooth, tempting you to spray too much – but don’t! You’ll ruin it’s amazing accords. High end fragrance from a company that sends more junk mail and sample packettes than….well….any self respecting junk mail company! They have recently updated their website, and it is much less functional. It used to have nice botanical descriptions and product definitions. Now it’s just a picture, a short sentence and a price. They could do such a better job of selling their many good products and several interesting fragrances. This one, though, I tried and don’t need to be sold on. no one ever can guess what it is. Nice side benefit!

I haven’t checked recently, but they’ve always provided more detailed fragrance info on the French version of the site than they do on the English version. Agree the new English one isn’t very informative!
