Stopped by B&BW today on my lunch break to get a gift for a friend. They didn't have this perfume in yet, but they had the $2 lotion bottles – so why not?

I put a dime-sized dollop on my hands and elbows. A friend of mine just walked past my office and asked if I was burning candles or something – she could smell flowers in the hall! LOL! To me it smells like a powdery floral with a spicy kick. I've never had a perfume that smelled like fresh ground peppercorns before like this does. It's interesting! I think it would be nice on a cold, winter evening out shopping – wrapped up in a cozy sweater.

Black Orchid sounded much more complicated. This smells like it came from B&BW! They always seem to have a common base they start with, just musk and powder I guess?

Will have to try it, although powdery isn't always appealing to me. The pepper sounds nice though!

I have the little lotions too, only on me it's a greener tuberose.

Becomes pretty basic after 15-20 minutes. Still a nice floral!

I'll have to wait and see if the EDT smells better.

I don't get anything powdery or musky from this fragrance.

And it couldn't possibly smell less like black orchid.

I agree that it smells more like a green tuberose sort of scent. I can maybe see a little bit of peppercorn in there, but overall, I do think it's a pretty basic scent. It's not bad. I think it's a lot more summery than winter though.

Will take basic over powdery any day, thanks!

It lives up to the real Tuberose flower to me, as it grabs one around the neck and says “Smell me, darn it”!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still working on the sample lotion botle (God bless BBW for that idea, its the best thing they've done)

Not sure if I'll fall for the full EDT.

I do not get pepper out of it, but I do fully agree with the above sentiment that it's summer and not winter. When they had the samples out my first thought before I even smelt it was “Why are they releasing that now? Too late in the year.”, and a whiff confirmed.

stopped at BBW this weekend and bought the $2 bottle, for someone coming from hawaii, it was a familiar smell a lovely one at that. Born and raised in hawaii, growing up with the plant in the yard, it brought a sense of serenity to me. It's a subtle yet intriguing scent. I ABSOLUTELY love it. My mother in-law who is not big on perfumes–allergies–Loves this scent. SO 100% try it out!

Half the stuff releasing this fall smells summery to me. I guess it's the new thing!

I've been wanting to try this fragrance ever since I found a scented page of it in a Bath and Body Works mailer, so when I was wandering around the mall last night I went into the store to (hopefully) fuel my recent perfume fixation. I sprayed one spray of this perfume on my wrist- note, ONE spray, and even now, almost 24 hours later, there is still a hint of it when I smell my wrist. So- staying power= excellent. The scent, although really nice, didn't seem like anything other than a powdery, white floral on me, and, while it was nice, very nice in fact, I don't think that I could deal with a strength like that of the EDT- way to strong. On the way home in my very small car I almost rolled down my window- and that was about 2 hours after application.

Wow, that is some strong stuff! I guess it needs to be dabbed, not sprayed.
