Ermenegildo Zegna Z Zegna Extreme ~ new fragrance for men

Posted by Robin on 11 September 2007 4 Comments

Ermenegildo Zegna Z Zegna Extreme cologneErmenegildo Zegna has launched Z Zegna Extreme, a new limited edition fragrance for men:

Discover Z Zegna EXTREME, an absolute of Z Zegna. A new interpretation, intense and male, for a man without limits: simply extreme! The metal-hardened bottle reveals all its character. The fragrance is taken to the extreme too for a tangy freshness (grapefruit, juniper) and a woody signature (Kashmire wood, vetiver).

Z Zegna Extreme was developed by perfumer Antoine Lie; additional notes include mandarin, casoar fruit, cardamom, rose and patchouli.

Z Zegna Extreme is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette in a metallic silver bottle, and can be found now at Bloomingdales. (quote via Bloomingdales, additional information via Women's Wear Daily)

Just goes to show that the blurbs for scents marketed to men are just as silly as those directed towards women.

This was supposed to smell like metal? O_O

I can't imagine an “extreme” version of this cologne. I couldn't STAND this one. I swear every time I go to dillards, they somehow manage to shove a card of this crap under my nose. I will scissor-kick the first person who tries to sell this extreme to me.

It's supposed to smell like metal? Psh, Zegna don't KNOW about metal. Smell Escada Magnetism, and LEARN about it, child.

Not sure it is supposed to smell like metal — think the bottle is just supposed to look like metal?
