Diesel Fuel for Life For Her & For Him ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 24 August 2007 4 Comments

Diesel Fuel for Life fragrances

Diesel will launch a duo of new fragrances this month under new licensing arrangements with L'Oreal. You can watch the advertisements now on the Diesel website or on YouTube; the tag line is "Are you alive? Fuel for Life, the fragrance by Diesel. Use with caution".

Fuel For Life For Her was created by Annick Menardo and Thierry Vasseur [sic] and is a chypre-floral, with top notes of mandarin and pink pepper, heart notes of blackcurrant and jasmine and patchouli and musk at the base of the olfactory pyramid.

Fuel For Life For Him belongs to the fougere-powdery scent family. Noses Annick Menardo and Jacques Cavallier created the For Him scent, which has top notes of anise and grapefruit, middle notes of raspberry and lavender and base notes of heliotrope and dry woods.

Diesel Fuel for Life For Her & For Him are both in Eau de Toilette concentration. (via Women's Wear Daily)

I don't know how long it will last, but since I discovered Fuel for Life For Him, it is now my favorite fragrance. I like its “hey-bring-your-nose-here-I-must-send-this-scent-directly-to-your-brain” scent. I know… I'm not good with my odour description!

That's alright…I get the idea! Glad you found a favorite.

My boyfriend wears Fuel for Life for him, and I have to say, it’s really lovely (albeit sometimes very strong).

Wish I’d paid more attention to the men’s version…will have to give it another sniff!
