Later this month, Christian Dior will launch Dior Homme Cologne, a lighter, fresher version of 2005's Dior Homme Eau de Toilette.
The original Dior Homme fragrance has been reworked by perfumer François Demachy, and the original notes of iris, vetiver and leather are now joined by citrus fruits, bergamot, tangerine and orange blossom.
Dior Homme Cologne by Christian Dior will be available in 125 ml. (via aufeminin, osmoz)
Other recent releases from Christian Dior: Fahrenheit 32, Dior Addict 2 Summer Peonies, Miss Dior Cherie Eau de Toilette.
The only reason that this parfum has been reformulated is because a directive from the EU told Dior to do so.
I still have about one half tea spoon of the original formula left. I often sniff it to remind myself how invigorating and seductive the original formula was.
The revised version of Eau Sauvage can’t hold a candle to the original, compared to which the revised version smells slightly cheap.
I have asked Dior to go back to the original formula for those countries not in the E.U. The last time I checked the USA is not a member of the E.U. so I see no reason why the original formula can’t be sold here, in Canada, and in all non EU countries.
