Diabolo Rose is the latest release from Les Parfums de Rosine, and follows last year's Twill Rose for men. Diabolo Rose blends Centafolia rose with bergamot and mint for a youthful but modern fragrance; additional notes include lily of the valley, peony, amber, musk and sandalwood.
Parfums de Rosine Diabolo Rose is an Eau de Parfum, and is available in 50 and 100 ml. (via aufeminin, lamurefavorite) Update: additional notes include tomato leaves, maté leaves. (via fashionmag.fr)
Another update: a description of the fragrance from the Rosine website:
An exquisite rose, almost childlike, and a mint, symbol of summer. Together, they represent this youth, this freshness, which is the ideal beauty of DIABOLO ROSE.
With the rose, we lightly touch the invented, the magic garden where flowers have a delicious smell in every season. With the mint, we approach the modernity with its dynamism and its desire of absolute freshness.
Diabolo Rose was developed by perfumer Francois Robert.
That actually sounds wonderful. Smith's makes a mint-and-rosebud salve that I love as a lipbalm. Rose, mint, and bergamot sounds like a refreshing combo for hot weather.
A new Rosine?! Be still, my heart! Actually, I didn't love any of their more recent women's releases (too much spice, too many white flowers), but this one sounds delightful. Thanks for the post!
I agree, and now I need that Smith's salve, I only knew about a plain rose one.
