Givenchy will once again release a "Les Millésimes de Givenchy" harvest collection this year.
The fragrances are scheduled for launch in April, and the special harvests, all from 2006, include ylang ylang from Mayotte for Amarige, orange blossom from Nabeul for Organza, and rose from Grasse for Very Irresistible.
The fragrances share a cubed bottle design this year, all in 60 ml (see last year's designs here and here). (via osmoz & parfumessence)

The Carol's Daughter line has launched nine Eaux de Toilette over the past year, and the collection is now available at Macy's and Sephora. Christian Dior will launch Dior Addict 2 Summer Peonies in May. The Eau de Toilette will be in 50 and 100 ml:
The new olfactive interpretation of Dior Addict 2 contains dominant floral notes of peony, "the symbol of prosperity, beauty and love", according to Dior.
Also coming this spring from Christian Dior, new Eau de Toilette formulas for Miss Dior Cherie and J'Adore. (via moodiereport) Other recent releases from Dior: Fahrenheit 32.
Oh, well, another wave of spinoffs–but I guess Hermes isn't going to do the third in its garden series as we'd hoped this spring. Or are they? If anyone would know, you would.
All the Diors and Givenchies remind me of ” Third Bride of Frankenstein's Uncle meets Great-nephew of Dracula's Cousin, the Sequel, Part Five.”
L, I haven't heard a word about a Hermes travel scent, but Hermes doesn't tell me much, LOL! I am disappointed, they need a third in the series. There is rumored to be a new Hermessence though, perhaps in the fall.
And there is something about the combination of “Addict” and “Summer Peonies” that I find extremely amusing — it is my favorite flanker name for the year, I think.
The people at Dior didn't really think that one through, did they?
I sniffed the Givenchy 2006s, and they were…nice. If I absolutely was forced to buy one, it would have been the Organza with orange blossom.
I sniffed them and hardly remember them, sorry to say — but then none of the 3 originals are great favorites of mine. I did like last year's bottles much better though!
