Posted by Robin on 25 March 2007 6 Comments

Desir de Rochas fragrances

Rochas has launched a new fragrance duo, Désir de Rochas.

Désir de Rochas Femme is a floral with gourmand accents; the notes include litchi, mandarin, cassis, strawberry, rose, lily, magnolia, freesia, peach, ambrette, sandalwood, patchouli and chocolate.

Désir de Rochas Homme is a woody oriental with notes of bitter orange, grapefruit, anise seed, cardamom, cacao, cedar, cashmeran and vanilla.

Both fragrances are in Eau de Toilette. (via osmoz, elleadore & lefigaro)

In my mind, Rochas is a very old brand. My grand ma used to wear it. I've tried the man scent on my boyfriend, and have to say that I was very surprised. Pretty young, and even the packaging and the advertising is quite surprising.

I have a fairly large fragrance collection (in the order of 100 bottles). I am newly single and the one fragrance which is guaranteed to have women going slightly weak at the knees is Desir pour homme. Desir Homme is a masterpiece. I rate up with Habit Rouge and countless other classics.
It is not that well known, greatly under-rated and one which I am stocking up on.

I still haven't tried it! Glad it's working for you though :-)

In Italy, it never arrived, never seen in perfumery!

I never saw it here in the US either.

Another scent that I have never seen in Italy is Soleil.

I bought Soleil on e-bay from France, but there are not others on ebay now. I will have purchased the last? I hope not!
