Penhaligons Artemisia Limited Edition ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 21 March 2007 11 Comments

Penhaligons Artemisia limited edition perfume

Penhaligon’s has released a limited edition collector's bottle of their popular Artemisia fragrance, in 500 ml Eau de Parfum.

This ultra feminine fragrance is created using a subtle blend of fruit and flowers nestled on a warm, soft powdery background. The oriental notes chime with jasmine, vanilla, violet and nectarines, while beneath precious sandalwood, musk and amber linger in the memory.

The bottles are individually numbered and run £150; you can order it online in the UK, but in the US you need to call 1-877-736-4254. They are currently running a contest for a free bottle; to enter, find the green unicorn hidden on their website. No idea when the contest ends, sorry!

500 ml! That's just crazy. That's twice as big as those ridiculous barrels of Creed. Did Penhaligon's redesign the Artemisia bottle, or did they just make the limited edition bottle less attractive than the regular one?

K, it is an awful lot of juice! The “regular” bottle looks the same on the Penhaligon's site, at least for now, and I have to say that I like it better than the LE too.

I'd be happy if I could ever finish some 30 ml bottle! This one is for the hole family. :P

It would have to be your signature scent, I guess! I can't imagine draining a bottle that size even if I did force my whole family to wear it :-)

FYI, the competition ends on 29 April at midnight (UK time, of course, so several hours earlier in the USA).

The words 'desirable' and 'eBay' somehow come to mind. LOL
