The last 3 sound just wonderful…but how to sample? When I wrote them couple of months ago…I forgot what they said, either that they don't have a sampling program yet or don't ship to the States…whatever it was they basically could offer no samples to me 🙁

You got better info than I did, M, they didn't answer me at all! And since there are so many other fish in the sea, I didn't pursue the matter 😉

I must say I find the name of the last one *very* odd: “enormous belly button”?! I guess maybe one's navel does smell of opoponax and carrot seed, but I'm not sure I'd want to broadcast that fact to the world.

They do seem to go for the strange names; some of the names in the first bunch of releases were even weirder.

There`s even more new scent from ELDO named Virgin and Toreador. 🙂

Thanks! Wish they would slow down on the new releases and concentrate on distribution in the US, LOL…

    Ooops!

Correction about the news: Virgin and Torero is not official name. The project will be launched in February 2007 and still has a name Beautiful Beast.

As I know, they are working to make European distribution – like they are now in Anvers (Verso shop, http://www.verso.be).

Thanks for the correction, and I'm hoping they'll find a US retailer soon!

In the end of January Etienne de Swardt will be in USA to get in exclusive touch with Henry Bendel.

New scent named Vierges & Toreros will be launched near the very same time (end of Jan 2007).

As I did try it and wear it right now – it`s dirty subdued tuberose blooming quietly on my skin under woods, musks (!!!) and dust. Tres sexy! 🙂

Thanks again, glad to hear they might be at Bendels soon — and dirty tuberose sounds perfect!

I absolutely hate this line. I don’t like a single one of their fragrances. Rien smells like pure smoke on me.
