Guerlain has launched Nuit d'Amour, a new fragrance by perfumer Jean-Paul Guerlain.
Nuit d'Amour was inspired by the Klimt painting Dame au Chapeau et Boa de Plumes, and the notes include litchi, pink peppercorn, May Roses, iris, aldehydes and sandalwood.
Nuit d'Amour is a limited edition fragrance. 80 bottles of parfum will be produced in a crystal bottle by Baccarat (500 ml, 1800€). A 60 ml bottle of Eau de Parfum will also be available (280€). Both bottles feature a Belle Epoque collar of jet glass beads with a cameo medallion. (via parfumessence, osmoz)
Wow! Those bottles are fabulous looking and JPG doing the scent??? Wonderful news!
The bottles are gorgeous…but the extrait makes the EdP look rather tiny and unadorned — I'm afraid I'm going to have to rob a bank to get the 500 ml.
I adore the look of these, but I think I may have read disappointing reviews of the juice? Or did I imagine it?
To tell the truth, I haven't even been paying attention. All these Guerlain limited editions are so out of my price range, and I didn't much care for Plus Que Jamais Guerlain, although it was beautifully done. If they have Nuit d'Amour at Bergdorf's next I'm there, will certainly try it though!
