Posted by Robin on 19 October 2006 5 Comments

United Colors of Benetton Unisex fragrance

Benetton has launched a new trio of fragrances, United Colors of Benetton, with three variations: Woman, Man and Unisex. All three are based around a cotton accord.

United Colors of Benetton Woman has notes of neroli, mandarin, hawthorn, cotton blossom, white musk and coconut absolute.

United Colors of Benetton Man features of bergamot, blackcurrant bud, aquatic notes, cotton blossom, cedar and musk.

United Colors of Benetton Unisex (shown) includes bergamot, neroli, cotton blossom, bamboo leaf, musk and gaiac wood.

All three are available in 40 ml, 75 ml and 125 ml bottles of Eau de Toilette and in matching bath lines. (via Benetton Perfume) For sale now in selected Benetton stores, but if I remember correctly, these won't launch in the United States until next year.

Benetton needs to fire their bottle designer – they have the absolute worst bottles! That Tribu bottle was so hideous, I had to throw it away.

This bottle is hillarious. It look like a giant olive. Who would wear a perfume that comes in an olive?

    Oh, dear-

I would LOVE a perfume that looks like an olive, weirdo that I am…

But these notes do little to peak my interest, alas…

Cotton in perfume usually smells rather like laundry detergent to me, so I'm not too keen on these either, but who knows…will certainly try them if I ever see them!
