Keira Knightley will replace Kate Moss as the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. Look for the first ads in 2007; meanwhile, here is one of Kate's, courtesy of CouleurParfum, and you can see another one here. (via Women's Wear Daily)
The Hartford Courant has an article on the latest trends in scent branding (link no longer working, sorry!).
An attorney in the Enron case was asked to scrub off his cologne after a juror complained. The scent: Tabacco by i Profumi di Firenze. Read more here.
Hmph – I happen to love IPDF Tabacco!! At least he had good taste!
How bizarre! I guess there's no such thing as bad publicity, though…
And he must have been wearing a lot of it! iPdF fragrances are usually easy to carry off.
HA about the lawyer!
Too bad they're dropping Kate Moss in favor of Keira. I like Kate much more. Keira can be lovely, but she seems to try too hard to be modelly as an actress, whereas Kate is just naturally modelly, the best model working I'd say, and comes equipped with the exact right attitude for the campaign, if that makes any sense.
Oh well, whoever it is, I'm still not buying Coco Mlle.
heheh. i can totally imagine having a juror ask me to scrub my perfume, how embarassing that would be!
And it isn't a heavy scent either. Have a feeling he was a bit overconfident in his application.
I would prefer Kate Moss too, but then I hardly know KK except from Pirates of the Caribbean. And I ain't buying it either.
You would think!
Keira Knightley! Blech! 🙁
Looks like she is not a universally admired choice 😉
