Summer editions of the L'Eau d'Issey fragrances by Issey Miyake will launch in April. The women's version includes rosewater, freesia, cyclamen, lily of the valley, white pepper, peony, osmanthus and woods. The men's features green leaves, rosemary, coriander, nutmeg and saffron.
Also in April, look for alcohol-free summer versions of Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances Le Classique and Le Mâle. This year's bottles are decorated with paper kites. (both above via cosmoty.de)
Gosh, Robin – the page looks so pretty with those colours! I wonder if this Issey Miyake will do it for me – I love the bottles and the whole concept, just wish I loved the juice. As for alcohol-free – I'm sceptical. The only reaction I've ever had to perfume came from a special 'sun-safe' version!
LOL — you would think JPG & IM had let me design the color schemes for their latest ads, no?
I've never had a problem with alcohol-based fragrances in the summer either.
Those ARE pretty! I used to wear l'Eau d'Issey back in my pre-perfumista days. I wonder if I'd like the new one. I fear it'd have the same headache-inducing thing that the original one had. Why did I put up with those headaches?? I guess I thought you had to, to smell nice.
LOL! I don't think it gives me a headache, but I never wore it regularly and for that matter, haven't tried it a long time.
I just love the IM bottles, and the notes sound good in both of them.
I like the bottles too. Will definitely give these a try.
