Lubin Idole, Irie Wash Paris & other perfume shopping notes

Posted by Robin on 14 January 2006 4 Comments

Lubin Idole is now available for pre-order at luckyscent and lusciouscargo, and is coming soon to beautyhabit as well. The fragrance is by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti and has notes of rum absolute, saffron, bitter orange peel, black cumin, Doum palm, smoked ebony, sugar cane, leather and red sandalwood. The stunning bottle is by Serge Mansau and features an African mask that is unfortunately very hard to see in this picture.

New at beautyhabit: Irié Wash Paris Eau de Toilettes:

09h25 with lemon, sweet orange, bergamot, green tea, mint, star anise, neroli blossoms, Atlas cedar, sandalwood and Indian tea.

15h10 with lemon, red mandarin, citrus zest, guava, mandarin and lemon tree blossom, citron, Virginian cedar and sandalwood.

20h50 with lemon, grapefruit zest, petitgrain bigarade, lime, white thyme, citrus blossoms, sambac jasmine, Javanese vetiver, cedar wood, and heliotrope flowers.

Other beautyhabit deals: get a free 15 ml La Maison de la Vanille fragrance with your $75 or more order using coupon code: VANILLA, good through 1/23 until supplies last.

I'm beginning to see the power and artistry of the Idole bottle, but I still say having a face on a bottle creeps me out.

Are those impossible-to-remember Irie Wash names supposed to refer to hours of the day? I'll never keep 'em straight.

I played with the contrast a little and now I think it is somewhat easier to see the mask…don't know if that makes it more creepy or less 😉

    Yep, hours of the day.

Ooh, those Irie Wash things might be fun! Still waiting to try Songe or is it Songes? R, do they have it in NYC yet, do you know?

Agree, L, I love lemon! No idea on the Songes but I'll bet Victoria would know.
