Welcome back, R! I just got to finally read that article this morning, and it was quite interesting. It really puts a new perspective on the importance of the bottles and all the hard work that goes into designing them. It's as important as the juice in the marketing of the final product. I always like reading Chandler Burr's articles – very thought-provoking.
K, I just glanced at it last night but will read it later today. Nice that they included a slide show!
Michael Edwards' French Feminine Fragrances gives as much space to the creation of the bottles as the development of the juice. At first I found that very odd, but as you say, it is as important as the juice in the marketing.
