British niche line Jo Loves will launch Orange Butterflies in April. The new fragrance was inspired by the South of France…
We live in a completely white house with whitewashed floorboards. It looks like a beach house. It’s on three floors and it has a big terrace. Every other day the floors are washed with a very diluted solution of Pomelo cologne. The sheets are changed twice a week, and we love scenting all of the sheets and pillowcases with a very light Bitter Orange cologne.
The new "fragrance paintbrush" from Jo Loves won't debut until the fall, but I know some of you will want it on your shopping list. It looks an awful lot like the new Byredo Kabuki, but it's liquid instead of powder. The gel formula reportedly took 3 years to develop, and according to Jo Malone, it dries on the skin in seconds. Look for it in Pomelo, Green Orange and Coriander, and possibly other scents as well, at about £40 for 18 ml. (via cosmeticsbusiness)
The Smoked Plum & Leather: This interpretation of an old fashioned combines plum liqueur, brandy, Laphroaig whisky, cinnamon, blackcurrant tea and lemon garnished with smoked cinnamon and dried blackcurrants.
