From Corpus, natural deodorant in No. Green: "Corpus is made for people who don’t want to sacrifice quality for the sake of going natural. Corpus has refined and redesigned what a natural formula can be. The result is a deodorant that goes above and beyond what you may have come to expect from “natural" - a deodorant with elevated scent profiles and a no-compromise vegan formula using only plant and mineral based ingredients." With bergamot, pink lemon, orange blossom and cardamom, $24 for 75g at Beautyhabit.

From L'Occitane, 'incredible recipe' verbena deodorant: "It’s a balm you won’t believe. Our first-ever deodorant balm is enriched with carefully-selected ingredients of natural origin that you can feel good about (and pronounce!). The perfect amount of each ensures efficacy in fighting against body odors while providing a sensation of comfort throughout the day. By neutralizing bad odors, our formula respects the natural phenomenon of perspiration without blocking it. Your pores are left unclogged, and your skin can breathe. Our balm is kind to your body, but tough when it counts." With applicator, $22 for 50g ($19.50 for just the tin, no brush).

Lavanila has a bunch of new scents in their "healthy" deodorant line since we last checked in. (Back in 2013, Jessica said the Lavanila Fresh Vanilla Lemon was her favorite deodorant; and she gave Vanilla Breeze Sport Luxe Deodorant good marks for hot weather.) Shown is the new Vanilla + Fire, from their Elements collection: "This warm and exotic blend of red ginger, wild orange, and soft vanilla ignites your inner power and energy. A natural vanilla fire deodorant."$14 for 57g. Also new is a Vanilla Eucalyptus probiotic deodorant, and I think I read somewhere that a Vanilla Spring scent is due to launch this year (Vanilla Winter features balsam fir and mint.)

A lemming for Johnny Cash's birthday: Routine's Johnny's Cash natural deodorant. "Pine + cedar, hop a train, play a guitar in the rain. Wearing black, sing the blues, are you getting more tattoos?" $28 CAD for 58g or $5 CAD for a 5g travel mini, at Routine in Canada.
5 Roses for June ~ body products review
Although I’ve garnered something of a reputation as a rose-lover over the past decade, I don’t review rose fragrances exclusively — in fact, my last rose perfume review was Sana Jardin Tiger by Her Side (November 2017) and my last rose body product review was even further back (September 2017). Since June is the month of roses, it seems like an appropriate time to update this situation! Here are a few rose-fragranced body products that I’ve recently tried.
I need to thank one of you (thanks, Creosote!) for recommending Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Soothing Body Lotion to me. Its consistency is just right: almost thick enough to qualify as a cream, but lightweight enough to spread and absorb without any waiting time…
