French niche line Neela Vermeire Créations has launched Eshal, a new tuberose fragrance.
A luminous floral reverie
Time often lulls us into believing we have endless moments to embrace life's joys. Yet, the universe occasionally places obstacles in our path, urging us to pause, reflect, and seek solace within our most cherished memories.
Tuberose has been a constant in my life, intertwined with the fragrant tapestry of tropical blossoms. From childhood to each return to India, the vibrant flower markets have deepened my connection to this queen of flowers, etching its lush, opulent scent into my soul.
With Eshal, we have crafted a verdant tuberose in extrait form which is an olfactory embrace designed to uplift and transport you to moments of pure happiness. A scent to illuminate even the most uncertain days, evoking joy and serenity with every breath. — Neela Vermeire
Eshal was developed by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. Additional notes include red mandarin, bitter orange, lime, petit grain, cinnamon, turmeric, beeswax, peru balsam and labdanum.
Neela Vermeire Créations Eshal is €350 for 60 ml Extrait de Parfum.

Oh this sounds lovely. Love tuberose, love this house, love the perfumer…
Ditto to all of that!
NV’s collaboration with Bertrand Duchaufour is my sweet spot. I love the scent of tuberose but often find wearing it in perfume too much and headache-inducing. But in NV and BD’s hands? I will definitely want to try it.
I love his Nuit de Tubéreuse but for some reason the tuberose in Pichola wasn’t a tuberose I wanted to wear. My regret is not having bought Trayee instead of Pichola. His take on jasmine is sublime!
Haha! I love Pichola. I forgot that tuberose is heavily featured. I think of it as a slightly spicy, buttery neroli and tropical florals. But you are right. And, I have less love for wearing Nuit de Tubéreuse myself.
Thank goodness! So boring if we were all the same. That said, I think I would think I’d died and gone to heaven if I caught a whiff of Nuit de Tubéreuse on someone—it is a very beautiful scent.
Allo, I need to email you. Plans are shaping up regarding that matter I wrote you about—six months ago??
I was going to ask…sounds like exciting plans afoot!
I really want to try this, even though I didn’t like Nuit de tubéreuse at all. I love most of the NV ‘s, though, so….
