Pretty pretty please bring these across the pond? Shower gels from Lush, already out in the UK, in Cherry Pop ("Daydreaming of dates by the jukebox and smoochin’ over a soda pop or two? Then this colour changing, cherryade hit of nostalgia, might just be the one for you!"; it changes from green in the bottle to red in your hand) and Posh Chocolate ("Say it with chocolate. Gift a true feast for the senses to your loved one this Valentine's. Lather up in a marvellous meeting of rich, cleansing hazelnut milk and sweet cocoa powder, warm and comforting vanilla absolute, along with bundles of skin-hydrating glycerine"; the original in the tub is the greatest thing ever although I nearly always mix it with something else.) Both are in the usual 3 sizes, pretty sure both have been kitchen exclusives in the past, both are limited edition.

I.can’t.even. Brightly / super-colored body products is one reason why I stopped buying Lush products (and have thrown out barely-used substances) with the eye-searing colors.
Sorry hajusuuri! More for me! I don’t really care what color something is in the shower so long as there is no glitter.
And here I thought I was the only one. I recently used up my samples of sticky dates shower gel, which did smell amazing, but was so highly pigmented that I wouldn’t purchase it. I made the mistake once of purchasing their outback mate soap which is the most beautiful blue color but the blue splatters it left all over my sink when using it was awful! I was seriously afraid it was going to stain the porcelain. I think I ended up throwing it out also.
I’ve got some of the Posh Chocolate body wash in the tub on its way to me from the Boxing Day sale. It came in a set with Orange Body Scrub.
Robin, do you just use your hands to apply it directly to body from the tub or do you put some on a loofah and lather it up? I’ve never used body wash from a tub before.
I use a mesh scrubbie type thing in the shower. Normally I scoop a tiny amount — it is very concentrated — of posh chocolate and put it on the scrub and then add whatever other shower gel I’m using. It goes nicely with anything citrus and with Rose Jam too!
It is inconvenient, though, to open a tub in the shower and I would much prefer the gel, even though the stuff in the tub looks and feels so nice.
Let me know how the orange body scrub is!
Oops, I accidentally posted my reply to you below. But now I also want to let you know that the two shower gels featured in this post are available online in the US already! I’m definitely tempted by Cherry Pop.
Thank you, filling a cart now!
Thanks, Robin! I use a mesh scrubbie thing too, so I’m glad I can easily put some on there to wash up. And I’ll report back on the orange body scrub when I use it. I also bought a new-to-me shower gel, Ghost in the Dark, which is supposed to be primarily lemongrass. I’m excited for all the new things! I got a bunch of bath bombs too and thinking of getting more before the sale ends lol.
Has anyone tried the Plum Rain shower gel? I’m curious as to whether it is a high-pitched, tart plum or a mellow, stewed plum but it seems to be online-only so I can’t try it at the store.
You can return it although it was a pain to do it. You can return at the store even if bought online.
I liked Plum Rain quite a bit. It was more of a bright citrus inflected plum. I didn’t find it super tart. It has been like 6 years since I’ve used it though so I’m going by memory from that far back. I found it very pleasant and would happily use it again.
Thank you!
I will second what therabbitsflower said about Plum Rain. It was also nicely mellow for a fresh, fruity showergel. I was kinda bummed out when LUSH discontinued it.
