It's Tuesday and Purple Day. Birthdays: AE Housman (Loveliest of trees, the cherry now), Robert Frost, Guccio Gucci, Joseph Campbell, Tennessee Williams, Leonard Nimoy, Diana Ross. What fragrance are you wearing?
At the moment I'm wearing ylang ylang oil mixed in unscented lotion. After my exercise class later this morning I might go for something stronger.
Reminder: 3/29 is Astrud Gilberto's birthday. Wear Robert Piguet Fracas (her favorite) or wear a fragrance that fits her music, or ?
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2024, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Note: the Berry Teapot from Coralla Maiuri in Italy ("The unique golden crackled rim emphasizes the elegant white with the brilliant pink décor at the center or alternatively the unique full-plate décor with the light pink center") is available in 60 or 100 cl (€175 or €205).
Oops…tea this morning is Upton Christmas Tea…which sadly still is just right for the weather.
Spring must be coming soon, surely?
It smells like spring and lots of things are blooming! But I went to the gym in a parka this morning.
Dear Polly for teapot tuesday. Tea is an extra large vanilla latte.
It rained and was windy all night long. All the snow we got last Friday is gone, and it’s still raining this morning.
Madtownteen is on spring break this week and her big brother is going to make the 4 hour round trip so they can go see Dune2 together. The first one came out when he was living at home for a bit and they went together to see that one. Neither one wanted to go see the second one without the other.🥹
Oh, that’s lovely! Ockeghem Teen is desperately searching for someone to see it with (we haven’t seen the first or read the books, and her friends haven’t, either). That’s the downside of being an only.
That they want to spend time together on their own accord warms my heart. There are 9 years (and a sister) between them, a decade ago this never would have happened lol. But at 18 and 27 they enjoy each other’s company.
We just watched the first one a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was pretty good! I’d like to see the second one but will probably wait for streaming.
I hope Ockeghem Teen finds someone to go with!
27! Gosh I can’t believe it!
Me neither lillyjo, me neither. I have no idea where the years have gone!🥺
Awwwwwwwwwww. It makes me happy to hear about siblings getting along.
😊
A cool morning and I’m out running errands: the perfect day for Fendi Theorema. I don’t have much left but I’m going to enjoy it while I can.
Yum! If it is as cold tomorrow as it was today, I’ll wear Theorema.
I wanted to try something new, so I today I am wearing a sample of VC&A Bois Dore for the first time. Once you get past the screechiness in the top notes (ambroxan, I think), it smells really nice. Tonka/almond/vanilla/woods – a nice scent to wap yourself in on a cold day. This one is for fall and winter for sure. It reminds me a little of Hypnotic Poison, although it has less almond and more woods. Not bad!
I also found a soap with a perfect orange blossom scent, but unfortunately it is somewhat drying. I enjoy the fragrance when I wash my hands… and then I apply a hand cream. 🙄 I guess you can’t have everything! The soap in question is Panier des Sens Orange Blossom. They have the whole line in this scent, although I have only tried the soap so far.
Add some orange blossom eo to your hand cream!
But really you cannot, apparently, have everything 🙂
Hello.
Sotd is Gabrielle Essence.
I recently switched from burning candles to a candle lamp, which works nicely but I have one question – the wax does not seem to evaporate away. The top section of the melted wax just becomes less fragrant. Do I need to pour some out?
Argh, can’t believe nobody has answered this! But I don’t know, I’ve never used one.
Good morning! SOTD is FM Iris Poudre. I’ve been thinking about this one and finally pulled it out of storage. Needed something elegant yet comforting 🙂
Tea of the day is the reliable PG Tips with a dash of milk.
You sure smell wonderful. I may pull mine out to wear later this week!
Day 4 of my incense week in Montale Full Incense. 😍
I can barely keep my eyes open today. I only slept two hours last night. Insomnia has been bothering me a lot lately. It is a very busy day at work, so extra coffee and more than a couple of Dr. Pepper flavored Peeps will be needed to face the day! I will survive!
Happy Tuesday! ☕️
DR. PEPPER PEEPS? Why don’t we have them in Canada? The most exotic thing on the shelves this Easter is cotton-candy flavoured Peeps, which I might buy when they go on sale next Monday, but I don’t eat much sugar these days so who knows.
Tell me how they taste so I can enjoy them vicariously.
The Dr Pepper is good, but I wish the flavor was stronger. I think my favorite flavors so far are chocolate pudding, root beer, hot tamales and fruit punch.
We’ve been insomnia twins, hope you can have lots of restorative sleep tonight like I finally did yesterday and you smell lovely.
Full Incense is a great incense perfume. You smell amazing!
Thank you, Glannys!
Ugh, insomnia is the worst! I hope you sleep better tonight and that coffee does its job in the meantime!☕️
Thank you, Madtowngirl!
I have to give you a Peeps enabler pin. Every time I pass by a display, I keep looking for fancy flavors!
I hope I can find the new Rice Krispies flavored Peeps soon. I think they are only available at Walmart. I might add them to my shopping cart next time I place an online order.
I actually got to try the Dr. Pepper Peeps. I thought they could have been a touch more flavorful but I was happy to see a different flavor around here.
I hope you sleep well tonight.
Thank you, Lillyjo!
I agree that the flavor was supposed to be stronger, but it is always fun to try all the new ones.
Hope you get a better sleep tonight. I had to Google Peeps…another delicacy that I’d never heard of.
Very popular here, but not on the healthy side!
Well. “Delicacy” is a master of opinion! Not a Peep lover here. 😂 But I’d kill for a Cadbury Creme Egg. I limit myself to 1-2 a year. They were a serious problem when I was a teenager with funds enough to stuff my face.
If anyone needs some serious Dr Pepper nostalgia, check this out:

pl67, some of this music could also help keep you awake!
Thanks for the link, Tulipani! Grabbing my earbuds right away to listen to the album.
I think of you every time I see Peeps in a store. They used to be my favorite Easter candy. 🐤🐣
😊
Today’s Goutal decant is Heure Exquise, which is lovely.
You smell wonderful!
Ooh that’s good stuff. I do rather regret swapping off my bottle.
Beautiful!
Gorgeous green scent, that one.
I’m joining Pyramus in Fendi Theorema because it sounds perfect today. Tea today will be coffee this morning and rooibos in the afternoon. (Yesterday I wore the amazingly smooth and gorgeous Rauque – it’s so much more than the sum of its very interesting list of notes. Forgot to post.)
Smelling good and good!
Ahh, you smell great today!
SOTM (and maybe entire day) is Under My Skin. So addictive. And the great news of the day is that my Pilates coach had her baby! Earlier than predicted by a full two weeks, but judging by the pictures she was definitely ready to greet the world. What do doctors know anyway? 😆
Babies are gonna do what babies are gonna do, for sure.
Hi friends! I’m on the other side of my hip replacement surgery, which apparently went well. Today is post-op day 6 and I’m not having too much pain, but my leg is very weak and it’s tiresome to be dragging myself around the house with a walker. I’ve been commando for days but today I’ll make an effort and put on a little Bronze Goddess.
Glad your surgery went well! How long is the typical recovery period. Is Little Biscuit with you?
Glad it went well.
Hooray, it’s good to hear that everything went smoothly. Sending you lots of healing vibes!
So glad you’re on the other side, just in time for Spring and Summer☀️
Good to hear the surgery went well and you are not in pain. Hopefully your leg will gradually get stronger.
I am so happy to hear that. I know you were nervous about it. Hang in!
Great new! I wish you a speedy recovery.
“news”
Very glad your surgery went well! Sending you strength and wishing you a continued smooth recovery.
I’m very glad to hear your surgery went well.
One day at a time!!
Isabella, I had hip replacement surgery a year ago and am so glad I did. Give yourself some time and the most important thing is you are not in too much pain.
Oh, man, what a drag. I hope you have some help around. All the best with your recovery.
I wore bronze goddess layered with jeffrey dame’s vanilla orchid oil every day when I was on vacation in Puerto Rico last fall and it was utterly dreamy.
Wonderful! You will have PT to work on rebuilding strength in your leg. I know on my first one I was just so relieved not to. have that awful pain in my hip.
Hey!! Glad to hear that your surgery went well, and you are now in the process of healing. Hang in there!
Sending all kinds of good wishes for your convalescence.
Glad all went well. You’ll get stronger every day!
Yay! Glad you are doing well. There have been a LOT of joint replacements among my immediate loved ones in the last decade (6 if I’m counting right), and it’s a lot to go through, but being pain free on the other side sure seems worth it. 🍀 for your PT
So happy your surgery was a success! I hope you’ll soon be able to regain strength in your leg.
SOTD = Les Exceptions Mugler Supra Floral
Green floral 💚, what’s not to love? Far be it from me to criticize, but you know I will, what is up with these companies that charge an arm and a leg for perfume where you can’t even tell what they are? This had been going on for quite some time while the prices had gone up by A LOT!

I think it was Aurora who mentioned something to the effect of NST being a microcosm of life in the U.S. and I love that thought! Here goes a few more:
– Did you know that Stephen King’s Carrie is now 🥁 🪘 🥁 50 years old? Who knew?
– Krispy Kreme donuts will now be distributed at McDonald’s starting later this year! I don’t go to McDonald’s often so I’m safe. The retail locations will continue to be open, lest someone thinks they will close down. Donuts 🍩 (or doughnuts) are taking over the world!
– If you thought that “let it go” refers only to Ed Sheeran’s song, think again. Note: It’s a gift article so you can let it go and peruse at your own leisure, especially if you’re traveling with strangers.

I am so glad I bought Supra Floral when I did: the store stocking Les Exceptions, with gigantic urns for refilling one’s bottle, first stopped having Supra Floral, and now they seem to all be discontinued.
Me too! In the U.S. this particular line was only available in two places: Nordstrom’s in Chicago and in Seattle.
In regards to that article, I saw a program once about farts, or “flatulence” if I want to be fancy. Yes, an actual science special on farts. Who knew? Anyway, it’s really just amazing what I GI tract can do and how it protects us. The program used some type of instrument that was able to show gases invisible to the naked on on a color spectrum. They took this instrument out in public and it was a fart fest. EVERYONE is tooting, all the time. Small toots, large toots, from people on the subway, waiting at the bus station, in checkout lines, etc. Most are not malodorous but as we know from personal experience, there are some real stinkers out there. I think it just amazing! I used to work for a group of GI doctors and we had some AH-mazing conversations when we were scoping patients. I learned so much from them, and heard some ridiculously funny and off-color stories. They were such a great group, one of the best jobs I ever had. Those were the days!
That is so interesting!
One of the things I remember from rereading the whole Al Creatures Great and Small series a few years back (doubtless the memory was triggered by watching the latest TV version) is when James is in his barracks during WWII, and hears a cacophony of farts every morning as the men awaken. It was quite funny! Of course, the other thing I remember is realizing how casually chauvinistic, classist, and xenophobic the books were. I didn’t see that when I read them as a kid.
LOL. Even dogs fart! It’s true about it happening everywhere.
I can definitely vouch for the fact that cats fart! 😽
I’ve seen Krispy Kreme donuts for sale at a local Target! Right by the front doors, to tempt and tease shoppers as they come in. 🍩
I have to look at ours. My brain is always on the Starbucks there only!
Ah, thank you for all these new fun facts😍 and Les Exceptions were really, well exceptional.
Needing a little extra comfort today, so I’m wearing “Dune – Esprit de Parfum,” from Christian Dior – the feeling of warm skin under a crisp white shirt.
You smell great, Dune is so odd, nothing is similar really, and a classic.
It is odd. It nevertheless reminds me of my grandfather somehow (I assure you he never wore it) which turned me off to wearing it on myself.
I’m sure Daniel smells gorgeous, though 🙂
Ha! I think it’s such a sexy fragrance. I hope when I’m a grandfather that I can still pull it off!😊
“Allure Sensuelle” was Chanel’s take on ”Dune,” apparently – I need to try it to see how much they have in common. But, you’re right – it’s quite unique and a classic. I haven’t worn the men’s version, but the original seems easily “shared,” to my nose.
Feeling cozy this morning in Jungle l’elephant, and with a heating pad on my lap while I grind away on spreadsheets.
Oh, you’re wafting some great stuff! 😍
In keeping with the Fracas inspiration, my tuberose of the day is the lovely Moon Bloom.
Have not tried that one, but yay for tuberose in the spring!
Always YAY for Fracas!
Hi there! Nice to see you again🌸
Thank you & likewise! I think of you all on the daily 😺
It will be included in the “fort tour”💕
Oh, it’s chilly . I’ve been outside to check the stars but it’s cloudy so nothing to report. To answer you, Robin, I like the peacefulness of early mornings. At this time of year I can look at the stars ( sunrise is around 8 am) but at other times of the year listen to the dawn chorus which is remarkable . I make coffee and go back to bed and read until seven. I just daydream in peace and quiet , which is somehow different and more fruitful than the thinking I do at other times of the day ( as I usually have the house to myself for 9 hours anyway). It’s a way of easing into the day, free of people moving around and talking. I also just enjoy watching the sky lighten. And I like the exterior human sounds, the newspaper being flung at the next door house from a car, the first aeroplane…somehow comforting. It’s a special time of day. The best comparison is that feeling of driving on an open road at night, being cocooned in your own world but awake to the outside that it lit up by the headlights.
Reading your lovely description, I feel like I’m sitting next to you, taking it all in (silently, of course😊)
Goodness. There are morning persons and then there are night owls. I’m in the latter group. 😉
Speaking of stars, Houston is supposed to have around 95% of totality for the upcoming eclipse. Many other cities here will have totality and so the state will be abrim with visitors (Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, among others.)
Thank you Kanuka!
I am the complete opposite of you…I find it very dispiriting if I wake before dawn and luckily I almost never do. I like the peace of late night when nobody is calling or texting, and all the chores are done (or are not going to get done now so…) and I am done with my day and can do whatever I like. Other than New Yorker (which I read with breakfast and at the gym) I almost never read before 10 or 11 pm.
Jasmin et Cigarette.
Maybe Astrud was surrounded by plenty of both during her lifetime?
Hmm, I think you might be right.
Perfect fragrance and perfect for the cp.
Excellent choice for the CP!
Nice. Haven’t worn this for a while. Even the name itself is a vibe.
Nice!
Wearing VCA Bois d’Iris, and it is feeling especially woody this rainy morning.
Sounds perfect.
I’m in a couple of sprays of Anné Pliska for a warm cozy cocoon. Of course, it’s still raining..!
What I’m quite delighted about is that during this very cloudy, rainy season my solar and batteries are still able to give me more power that I use on the daily. It’s a fabulous system and I’m so glad I coughed up the cash to have the system upgraded. 🌞
Lovely teapot! I do like that bit of gold bling on the lid! 👍
You were very wise to make that improvement.
My sister and BIL made that improvement several years ago, and they’ve been happy with it.
Very smart to get that upgrade!
Smart upgrade!
Deva, hope you found a safe place to sleep!
Intermittently sunny out! I’m wearing CBIHP Black March.
Ack, why haven’t I worn that yet this month!
Revisiting a sample of Pierre Guillaume A Une Madone. I like it but there’s something screechy in it…probably being used for the woody notes…that disagrees w/ my nose.
Blech to screechy woods.
Turmeric Latte for me this morning, because I needed a comfort perfume. Mr. Ockeghem was in a major accident early this morning. Apparently someone stole a car, the police were chasing him, he came roaring through a big intersection against a red light, hit a car which hit our car, and then flipped and skidded nearly a block. Mr. Ockeghem is fine, the other driver had a minor injury, and the thief wriggled out of the flipped car and ran for it, so must be fine. Our car is a total loss, though…sigh.
Well, the day can only get better from here, right? 😀
I am so sorry and grateful for you that the mister is a-ok.
OMG, I would have been so scared, you must be so relieved Mr. O is fine.
Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that but glad no one was seriously injured, which is a miracle considering the speed and carelessness of the perpetrator. I hope they caught him/her. Might have to let the dogs out to track the person down. Hope you can find a replacement vehicle you like at a good price!
Oh geez sounds like everybody is okay but surely shaken. Sounds like what I see every time I leave my house in Virginia Beach where all the streets go at 55 mph.
I looove Turmeric Latte which I discovered after buying the Lush Power hair conditioner. It always struck me as a real misnomer since, as you say, it’s very much a comfort scent. (I had it in my hair when I went to get my haircut and my stylist snifferd and said, “What smells like cookies?” —> 🙋♀️
Hope you get things resolved with your car sooner than later…
The streets in the city here are only 50 kph (30 mph), thankfully. And fortunately our Highlander is (was?) a tank. The driver’s side door was bashed in but he said the interior was completely intact.
I didn’t realize they had TL in a conditioner under a different name, as well! Hmm…
Get it while you can! (It’s available in the US, anyway).
I drive a similarly massive vehicle and will continue to do so for exactly that reason! Glad he was able to walk away without a scratch
That’s terrifying and I’m so glad that everyone escaped near disaster.
Oh no! Very glad that your Mr. Is okay, but what a shock.
Oh that is terrifying! Very glad to hear that Mr. Ockeghem is OK.
It’s annoying to deal with, but it is worth calling your insurer soon; they may want you to file a police report today, especially since there were so many people involved (thief, police, other bystander car)
Oh yeah, he was on the phone with them for a long time this morning. We only have one car, so we really need them to send the adjustors to the tow lot, arrange a rental car at their rate, and figure out how much $ they’re going to give us. We called our broker already, too, to start the car search.
Fortunately in terms of the police report, they were already on the scene as they (well, really the thief) were the cause of the accident. 😀
What a pain to have to deal with. I hope it goes as smoothly as it can
My Gosh! I am so glad he’s ok. How scary!
Oh no, how horrible! There are often innocent deaths in the case of police chases here and it makes you wonder if they really should be stopped (as a strategy).
Given how many cars are stolen around here, I’m surprised they even bothered to chase him. We used to be the car theft capital of North America, but I think that title may have recently passed on to Toronto.
YIKES!
Very glad to hear that Mr. Ockeghem is all right. But now comes the aggravation of dealing with insurance, and getting a replacement vehicle. What a pain.
Oy! Glad there were minor injuries only and your Mr. is ok. If not already done, it’s probably best to have your husband checked out though because unexpected impact could leave soft tissue damage.
So glad hubby is OK!
OMG! A blessing Mr. O is okay, but I’m sorry for the aggravation of dealing with insurance, etc.
I’m wearing 1932 from Chanel, a lovely gift from Kanuka.
That is indeed a lovely gift!
Testing D’anamm Monsoon Tea today.
My great niece has her 15th birthday coming up and I got an urgent text for Prada Paradox.
It’s great that she is already into perfume.
She wants mine…
ALL of it? 😯
Haha! My 30 yr younger niece has perfume emergencies, too, but she wants none of my collection. We are at opposite ends of the perfume spectrum.
I fell asleep yesterday before commenting, feeling better today, sipping on an apple, spinash and yogurt smoothie. I picked Yardley Jade today which is very much in the vein of Cristalle, for people in the UK, I think it is now called Flora Jade but it’s the same perfume and tonight I am in OdlR Volupté which is so radiant and fruity.
My smoothie was a fresh mango lassi. This time of year nothing much is coming up out of the ground locally but we can get really good tropical fruits from the Caribbean. I love a ripe mango, especially the champagne variety.
So glad you enjoy smoothies too, I made frozen mango and spinash smoothies last week but I bet your fresh mango one was particularly tasty.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better today. Did you get a bug? Or was it a case of not sleeping well?
Thank you Jalapeno, it was after not sleeping well three days in a row.
Huh. Whaddya know. I happen to be wearing a purple top and am wearing a purple fragrance – Apres l’ondee. I bought a bottle a few weeks ago to wear this spring. At $125 for 75 ml, I wondered if this is the new PerfumeMathFree given that the Chanel exclusifs are $325 for the same size. My first exclusifs bottle was $90, not that long ago (2017?) What is this world we are living in?!?
So while at the Chanel online shop buying my No 5 body cream to go with my soap and oil (ahem), I noticed that they have some ridiculously overpriced scented massage oil in flavors of Rose and in Jasmine, and that for $230 for 8.5 oz, I should probably buy some to rub all over my feet.
Has anyone tried these? Have we already done a split and I missed it?
Hope you’re all well —
You smell wonderful today! 🙂
I do! Last spring I bought Splendiris, which is clearly an homage. I’d been thinking about a bottle of the Guerlain for years. It’s availability seems to come and go though to my knowledge it was never d/c’d?
My other favorite spring purchase is a bottle of Augustine Reyes Royal Violet baby cologne. $6 on amazon& it’s dreamy
PerfumeMathFree seems to be a rapidly moving target these days.
That is PerfumeMathFree in today money. I’d been considering getting the Boise des Iles extrait, on rumors of prices rising yet again. Looked at my receipts: in 2021 I paid $240 for a extrait (still crazy), and now they want $305? A more than 30% increase, well above what has been crazy inflation. Yeah, no.
I had planned to buy myself the extrait for Christmas last year when it was $285. I didn’t, but at least it only went up twenty bucks.
I give up. Srsly.
I’m wearing Pale Fire by Maison Anonyme today. I love this one, but unfortunately, I forget about it. I have 3 travel sprays from this brand that I bought back in 2017 during a sale. As I was looking through my perfume shelves this morning, I saw these travel sprays in their beautiful boxes and remembered how good Pale Fire is. Sadly, the travel sprays have all evaporated down to just about 1 or 2ml. I know I’d barely worn the other two, Vespero and L’Immortel. I’ll definitely keep wearing what’s left before they completely evaporate. Vespero has a black pepper note so it’ll work for next week’s CP.
Pale Fire is one that I’d nominate for an amazing under the radar perfume. It’s so well blended, it’s a little hard to describe. It’s very rich but also airy somehow with benzoin mixed with florals and cacao. Just a beautiful scent to me. I never see anyone bring up this brand, but they are at Ministry of Scent, though many of the samples are sold out.
Ugh, I hear you on losing perfume to evaporation. I feel like every time I open my drawer I find another dried up bottle.
Pale Fire sounds delightful. Enjoy what you’ve got left!
Hey, nice to see you!
And the evaporation problem is a real problem and constant annoyance. Sometimes I can predict which kinds of bottles may cause evaporation and sometimes I’m a little blind sided.
I have had quite a few decants and samples fly off to the angels. I’ve wondered if it would be worth trying to reconstitute them with a bit of vodka.
Rubbing alcohol does NOT work!
I sent some of my almost dried out decants to nancyleandros way back when.
Yes, you did! In 2017, if I remember right. ❤️❤️
Yeah, it’s definitely worth putting a little vodka or perfumer’s alcohol in the ones that evaporate into thick, oily gunk. Sometimes I’ll wear those anyway but carefully since they make your arms oily. I’m happy that Maison Anonyme perfumes didn’t get super thick.
I’m still wearing Grandiflora Queen of the Night. It’s almost like it’s become my official scent of spring. We have glorious beautiful fresh ir weather today! The green of the trees is so sparkling and pretty!
I have a sample of that one, I hesitated a long time whether I needed a bottle but as Grandiflora’s are not so easily available in Europe, these days, it’s probably not going to happen.
Oh, that’s a good one! I have a sample of QotN and will wear it sometime this week. You smell great. 😊
Wearing No. 5 L’eau today for the office and sipping on a random assortment of tea bag tea. The hot water from our office’s water dispense is 20 degrees too cool for a proper tea. I think I need to start bringing a ceramic mug that I can pop in the microwave rather than my metal travel mug.
You are smelling quite polished today!
Woo hoo on No.5 L’Eau!
Do you have room for an electric kettle at your workspace? I love ours. Super fast and perfect temp.👍
Or get a travel one…mine is sized to fit in a car’s drink holder.
I guess you could start drinking matcha
Wearing Impact Pour un Homme by Caron, sipping a white jasmin tea.
I am on vacation and I decided I needed a brief getaway for shopping before doing chores – and before the crowds arrive mid day. I love to try perfumes but I find the counters so intimidating and I can only sample a couple at a time. I stopped at Neiman’s and tried Amouage Guidance and another one but I actually found the Glossier You I had on from home seemed to outlast both of those.
Then it was back home for yard work which was actually wonderful in great spring weather, I will be sore tomorrow but in a good way and will get back out there.
I really need to get out there and do yard work, good for you! Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
I’m in Mitsouko today; needed something serious while I reviewed 28 pages of apartment lease. Got my questions answered and signed up for another year.
Coffee was the morning beverage, but I’m drinking jasmine rose green tea this evening. Happy Tuesday, friends! 🤗
28 pages of apartment lease?? Wow!
I know! There was a three page addendum for anything they could possibly think of. 😵💫
I have been watching Judge Judy and I always shake my head when I hear no lease or a see a two-pager.
Good point! Better to have everything spelled out, I guess.
Sunny but chilly today. I am listening to the sound of roofers replacing shingles on a building adjacent to my apartment building this afternoon.
SOTD = back in Vera Wang Lovestruck. Time to start wearing perfumes and quit hoarding them.
Also, thinking about the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. I’d seen that many times when I was in the area. Now it’s gone.
Interesting news, the end of a landmark.
Horrifying.
No hoarding! I sometimes even feel guilty wearing samples and decants and then remember that some of the decants were purposefully acquired!
It’s a positive sign that I am more interested in perfume now that I have been recently!
Yay!
I think it’s great you are back in a perfume mood!
Little by little. 😁🥰
Keep on shopping your collection I say, well I noticed your posting that not all of it is unpacked which is very understandable.
Everything is easily “get to-able”, if that makes sense. I have a few bottles still in bubble wrap. I was trying to group bottles of the same house together over the weekend, which will make finding certain perfumes much easier. Did not finish that task.
Gloomy and rainy today. I got about half the cleaning done and took the dog to the vet.
I started out in Angel Innocent and am now trying out Pacifica vanilla. It reminds me of Philosophy Fresh Cream.
Hope the vet appointment was a routine one! 🐶
