Well, that was a very silly article, wasn’t it? Not even an article: it was really an ad, or at least a massage for the advertisers, disguised as a think piece.
I always wear a scent to bed, nearly always a preview of what I’m wearing the next day, because (and I know how overplanned this sounds) I almost always choose tomorrow’s scent tonight. Sometimes I like to surprise myself, but not usually: an hour or so before bed, I go through the collection and choose a likely candidate for the next day, and apply some before turning in. It’s comforting.
Well, that’s the definition of a beauty mag article, right?
Yeah, you’re right, of course. Sometimes I think I’m too cynical and sometimes I think I’m not nearly cynical enough.
