I'll take one of each. 40th anniversary editions of perfumer Guy Robert's Amouage Gold Man and Amouage Gold Woman, both updated by perfumer Alexandra Carlin and presented in "the highest quality crystal, made in the original moulds and hand-blown reality in the workshops of the High Cristallerie haven of Waltersperger in the heart of Normandy, France". To be released in December, 500 bottles were made of each, $1,950 a pop.

I would love to have this bottle even though I have a hard time with Gold woman. The men’s version is easier to wear. But I would never spend almost 2 grand on a bottle.
I liked the men’s much better. Wish they would give me the men’s and put the original version of Ubar in the woman’s bottle 🙂
Thankfully I already have one of the vintage mosque bottles, for which I paid far less than 2k. They are beautiful though.
I hope you paid less than 2K, I know they were expensive but they were not originally that expensive.
It must still be affordable because you provided the price 🤣.
HA — true.
I’m not sure I’ve tried either of the original scents and looks like I won’t now either!
They do still sell them in the regular bottles, $370 each for 100 ml.
For purposes of reference I would love to try the original Gold Woman, I have a bottle of the EDP which I love, but I’m sure that it’s not identical to Guy Robert’s original creation.
I tried Gold Man (again) in the KaDeWe in Berlin, but was completely damaged by the way it was stored. It smelled of vinegar. In their display the bottles were lit from below, which looked great but cooked the juice.
Wow the bottles look stunning. Thankfully I’ve never had any luck with any of Amouage’s fragrances.
