Interesting that the article leads with Royal Oud, which came out in 2011. I thought of other fruity ouds (or oud interpretations) from this time from Aramis and Estee Lauder: Wood Mystique 2011, Perfume Calligraphy 2012, and Amber Mystique 2013. I am curious about Maison Crivelli Maracuja, but I can be overwhelmed in tantalizing opulence by Teatro alla Scala, too, so the lemming curls up for a nap this time.
Yes, oud has been having its main character moment, fruit and no fruit, for a very very long time.
